I have read the reviews after staying there for a weekend, and was surprised to find so many negative opinions. The hotel is locally considered one of the best places to stay. We had a nice room, large enough, very clean. Wooden floors, sober furniture, all looked relatively new. The bathroom was spotless and we had bathrobes and large towels... more

Stayed two nights too long. Hotel is clean but that's about it. Rooms are very small, bathrooms extremely small. We ate at the hotel and the food is awful. A country with food as their signature and they can't put an edible meal together. Such a disappointment. The grounds are very nice but don't make up for all that is... more

I spent three nights at this hotel. It stands on the edge of Agrigento, fairly close to the Valley of the Temples , and has lovely grounds. Our room was clean, comfotable and situated away from the busy street. The only real downside was the quality of the food served to groups which was more reminiscent of school dinners than... more

Had a good experience with Jolly Ognina in Catania, but this one didn't even have a directory of hotel services. No info in the room about hours/location of breakfast, suggestions for dining, check-out time, no television listing. Our only call to the front desk was not answered. We were disappointed that, on a Tuesday evening, the hotel restaurant was serving... more

The first thing that hit me when I checked into this hotel-- it is a chain and I could be anywhere in the world. I wanted to leave pronto. Glad that I didn’t read any of these reviews beforehand; because I guess there have been some shake-ups. The receptionists were extremely helpful and polite. Parking was absolutely no problem. The... more

Nasty desk staff gave hotel a bad feel right away. Some rooms are very nice, some are horribly noisy. There are two buildings, higher floors in secondary building the best. Food was bad, service in dining room bad. Get to breakfast early or you'll just find dirty tables, and very little selection of food and cold eggs. Nice garden and... more

The hotel is situated between the valley of temples and the city centre, at a crossroad with traffic lights. There is enough parking space in the nearby street. It’s a typical hotel of a big chain: big, unpersonal and meeting all the standards for the stars. The garden is very nice with a big swimming pool. It’s a shame that... more

This hotel is a solid business-class hotel which is also a good choice for tourists looking for a newer, clean, well-equiped room at a reasonable price. I paid 95 euros (single rate). The room was comfortable, adequately sized (not huge and not small), and well maintained. The 5 story hotel overlooks relatively large gardens. The breakfast buffet was good, not... more

Beautifully landscaped gounds with excellent pool facilities. Bartender at pool and staff were wonderful. Close to ruins and center of town. Rooms nice and clean. Lower floors were noisy and parking was difficult. Laundry service failed to pick up laundry in room. Moderately priced for area. more
