Central and close to the temples. Breakfast was fantastic, good selection of treats. We found the room we stayed in a bit bare but that's not important if your aim is to see the sights. The rest of the apartment is lovely. And the hostess is very friendly and accommodating.

For those who love Antiquity, Agrigento offers a lot as well as the surroundings. It can be a place from where to visit also Syracuse or other mithycal places of Sicily. If you want a perfect trip, interaction with locals, then Antonia Cassaro and A Casa di Max offers you the best place to stay. Antonia and her husband are... More

Very friendly welcome in this nicely decorated, calm & modern appartment 10 walking minutes from the historic center. Although a bit difficult to find, there is free parking very close by and a small supermarket in the same building where you can buy what you need for the day. Very special breakfast with Italian/Sicilian specialties (if you expect a standard... More

It is a bit difficult to find, because it is an apartment and not a hotel. My tip is that the apartment entrance is between a Supermercato and a Macelleria and Panetteria. If you are traveling SE and you get to the traffic circle you went to far. Parking can be a problem. The view from this apartment of the... More

Everything you have read from other reviewers is true! Finding this place is quite a challenge, but well worth it. Incredible view, very comfy room with an updated bathroom. The REAL gems, though, are the people: Antonia is a delight -- warm, genuine, compassionate and giving. The fabulous breakfasts she prepares display not only her culinary prowess, but her pride... There are not enough stars to describe kindness and clever, bright, intellectual spirit of our experience at Casa di Max. Brilliant breakfast full of sicilian flavors, magnificent vue to Agrigento temples, history that flies away your mind in centuries of civilization. Antonia and Franco are beautiful people.

A nice room, 5 minutes walk from the city centre (admittedly, not a very pleasent walk at night). The room has a tiny porch with a great view to the valley of temples. The room is very basic, but very clean and tidy. The sweet breakfast was fantastic, Antonia and her husband are such lovely hosts, and went out of... More

All the rave reviews are justified. We stayed here for two days at the end of September and wish it had been a week! We were warmly greeted by Antonia's husband, despite having arrived two hours late. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with breathtaking views over the Valley of the Temples from our 7th floor balcony. The ensuite... More

Spare room with private bathroom and balcony at the 7th floor of an appartment in a flat and overlooking the valley of the temples. Spectacular views on Sunny days. Excellent breakfast with a great choice of food. The bed was too narrow for us though, luckily there was a separate 1-p bed in the room as well. Helpful and friendly... More

Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Antonia is an extremely welcoming and intelligent person. The area surrounding Casa di Max is extremely safe and parking is available in the street. The breakfast was typically Sicilian, cakes, interesting breads and jams and rich coffee.
