We wanted a small Bed and Breakfast in the historic area of Agrigento. Once we located the B&B, we learned that we needed to park the car in a parking garage nearby and parking was included in the rate. The room was very good for us and the breakfast was excellent. We truly enjoyed the B&B and the location is... More

Once we found this little place, we were so pleased. The service was outstanding. Each morning the breakfast pastries were fresh and delicious. The orange juice was quite refreshing. We were always able to find a parking space nearby, and it was a perfect spot to explore the town. We stayed two nights and found it difficult to leave, but... More

This B&B is worth the extra few minutes to find. We totally agree with other reviewers; the hosts are awesome; the rooms beautiful and immaculate and the location quiet and convenient. Giovanni and Guissi made our stay memorable in every way.

The B&B location is not the best one you can find. The street is really a big ramp, narrow and there is no place to park the car. You have to park down hill and carry on your luggage. Besides that you are in the middle of the old center which means that you can find everything like restaurants, stores,... More

Stayed for 2 nights in April while visiting the Valley of the Temples. All pretty much as advertised. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Nice Sicilian breakfast, served individually at tables in the spiffy dining area: excellent croissants, pastries, and coffee. Smoke-free. Giovanni an excellent host, and very helpful. Generously sent up heat (and towel warmer on), though could have gotten... More

I would recommend Le Cinque Novelle to travellers who would like to explore the Agrigento area. This B&B is clean, comfortable, offers free wi-fi access and a very generous breakfast. If travelling by car it would be useful to check with the owners beforehand about parking in the nearby covered car park. We will certainly stay here again when we... More

Located in a quiet area of the historic center of Agrigento, Le Cinque Novelle is a hidden gem. The rooms are good sized and beautifully decorated. GREAT bathroom. Our very generous host, Giovanni, could not have been more helpful. He speaks great English and was more than willing to help us find bus connections within the city and beyond. But... More

The hosts, Giovanni and Giusse, could not have been more helpful to us. Giovanni parked our car when we arrived stressed from being lost in the confusing maze of Agrigento streets, and we were provided with exactly the breakfast we wanted at a time that suited. The rooms are large, comfortable and stylishly furnished. The location is great, wonderful views... More

Although the Cinque Novelle is located on a street that may seem shabby at first, it is frankly impressive once you get inside this magnificent B&B. They have created a very cozy, quiet and elegant atmosphere. Our bedroom was spotless, the bathroom is vast, and every detail was taken care of. Our bedroom had a small fridge, a desk, wardrobe,... A lovely B&B on the hill of Agrigento. Located near the night life center, shops and restaurants. Just below the door is a free parking if there is place. In any case parking skills needed. The B&B itself is a bit hidden in a hilly alley. The outside is just a solid wall, nothing unusual. The interior in contrast is... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Agrigento, crib of Magna Grecia, earth of different dominations, with its narrow little streets, the suggestive stairways, the barroc balconies and the marvelous Valle dei Templi that it illuminates some precocious flowering of the Almond tree in February, hand a warm welcome to its visitors. Our structure is an ideal destination for the one who wants to bathe in the rich local culture, to taste the delights of our kitchen and confectionery, to enjoy the magnificent sun and the sea of the South. It sets in the Historical Center of the city, with autonomous entry and sight to sea, it is near to monuments as the Monastery of Santo Spirito (ancient house of the Contessa Marchisia Prefolio Chiaramonte), the ex - Collegio dei Filippini (today center of important pictorial and photographic shows), the Church of Santa Maria dei Greci (still built on an ancient visible templar plinth), the Bibliotheca Lucchesiana and alone 80 meters away from the Theater Luigi Pirandello.Recently renovated, finished with exposed sandstone, brick arches discovered during construction, local pottery and tools of ‘900s, our hotel offers all modern comforts in a rustic and elegant ambient, decorated in poor art. With bedrooms, double or twin rooms with air conditioning, heating, bathroom with shower, heated towel rail, hairdryer, TV, Digital TV, safe, Wi-Fi and offers a rich breakfast. Our target is the total satisfaction of our guests to feel them as at own home ... with a lot of sympathy, warmth and hospitality ... the "magic formula" B & B! ... more   less
