This is not a 5-star hotel, but the price reflects this - I paid 30 euros for a room for the night for one person, although this was in March rather than July !
The hotel is just off the main street (Via Atnea) in Agrigento - about 5 mins walk from the very centre of activity, and 10 mins walk from the train station (you need to walk from the station into the very centre, and then slightly out). It's not that easy to find - ask someone for directions to Piazza Lena. Alas not everybody in Argigento knows where Piazza Lena is ! If you're coming to Agrigento, you probably want to see the Greek temples - remember these are about 5 km away from the main town.
Both entrance and room are basic but functional. Room came with en suite bathroom and air-con / heating (yes, Sicily can get cold in winter), and the heating seemed to work pretty well. The man at reception speaks Italian and French, and if you speak slowly might be able to understand you in English.
