We have spent three fabulous days/nights at Roma Imperiale and can only rave about the staff, service, room, cleanliness, restaurant, calm, beauty of the villa, grounds and pool and the total experience of feeling truly welcome, pampered and petted, even though I don't speak a word of Italian, sign language welcome here! The food from breakfast, lunch and dinner is... More

We stayed at this peaceful gem of a hotel when traveling through Piedmont by bike. Our third floor room was beautiful with large windows, beamed ceiling, huge marble bathroom and king size bed overlooking the garden. It was lovely to relax by the pretty pool in the garden after a long day of biking. The included buffet breakfast was very... More

As part of a "casual" bike trip, we stayed here last month. What a pleasant surprise; Very elegant with lovely grounds. The proximity to the lovely town of Acqui Terme really helped, and it was a plus in every way.

We found this gem of a hotel while rambling trip through Europe with no pre-planning. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The Hotel is amazing for the price. All the amenities you'd expect and more are available. From the pool, to an excellent restaurant and a full service spa, Hotel Roma Imperiale is an excellent experience. The hotel... More

We were booked here as part of a cycling package and found the hotel to be a pleasant surprise. Located just outside of the old part of the city, the hotel is surrounded by trees midway up a small hill. It is quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle. We had a room on the second floor with two... More

Hotel Roma Imperiale is a charming villa surrounded by greenery with imposing Roman statues in the garden and a pool. The Interior is beautifully decorated and is very spacious. It is spotlessly clean. A varied and appetising continental breakfast is served in the elegant dining room. We were surprised by the size and elegance of our room! It was practically... More

A old hotel with plenty of charm. Our room overlooked the office which meant we didn't get much fresh air through the open window plus very conscious of privacy. Be ware that there is a big difference btn best and worst rooms! AC didnt work very well, despite a coolish night the room was a bit stuffy. There is a... More

When we arrived at the hotel we aere greeted by a young women who spoke both Italian and English fluently. I was a wam day and we had just completed a 32 mile ride from Alessandria. I asked if we could get a couple of glasses of white wine which she said yes and would bring it to our room... More

I love these "Grand Hotel" from the late 1800s. Large spaces and beautiful interior. The exterior is also imposant and a beautiful garden with swimming pool surrounds the hotel. My room consisted of two very large rooms - one with TV, sofa and armchairs and a bedroom with large double bed with canopy. Classic paintings accentuated the feeling of living... More

Well, admittedly it's been a few years since we stayed here, but it cannot have changed much. Excellent service! Polite staff, and there wasn't anything they wouldn't do to help us! Okay, it's a decent walk from town centre and the piazza della bollente where we found an excellent local restaurant with an American Chef! Food there was GREAT! Wine... More
