We liked this hotel so much we changed our plans and stayed the weekend instead of just one might. Only a couple of miles from the Eden Project, it was a perfect base for exploring the area. The hotel itself is lovely with fantastic views of the harbour and sea. We had room 1 - first floor, double aspect, perfect... More

We last stayed at The Pierhouse Hotel some 21 years ago when it was simply wonderful. Revisiting after such a period of time has allowed it to develop into a fantastic well appointed destination hotel and restaurant. We booked Room 4 knowing it to have a spectacular harbour view. This room has grown into a split level suite with a... More

Called in for a couple of drinks as we are staying here in Charlestown. Having been to The Rashleigh Arms a couple of times we decided to try somewhere else - BIG mistake. Customer service is not comparable at all. There were two members of staff when we walked in today - neither acknowledged us and, when we approached the... More

If, to you, Cornwall is all about picturesque harbours, you cannot do better than stay here. We had room 28 which is a converted outbuilding as close to the actual harbour as you can get. The view from the double aspect windows was superb and step out the door in the morning and you have the Georgian harbour all to... More

Wanted to visit the Eden Project so arrived on the Friday. Had really searched to find a good hotel and this one came out well on Tripadvisor! Not disappointed. Had Room 1 with lovely view of harbour and sea. Room lovely, bed really comfy, al a carte restaurant booked and enjoyed two great meals! Sightseeing on second day to Fowey,... More

Just returned from 2 nights at this great find. Originally booked for one night for a visit to the Eden Project nearby, but extended it to two as we didn't want to leave. Rooms are superb, location and views superb, restaurant and service superb as well. As you may have guessed we have already booked another visit!

We went for a family meal on Wednesday evening. Meal was amazing. The service was excellent. We are returning as a large group next Friday to celebrate my parent's 50th Anniversary (Mum will be in spirit). So looking forward to another great evening.

Lovely location, nice hotel with lots to do. Shipwreck museum is interesting and just up the road. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking a little tight but can park in the car park for £5 for 24 hours or the inn car park up the road. Food is good except the pineapple with the gammon which they grilled. Overall... More

Today we visited Charlestown on rather a wet, chilly day and made a visit to the Pier Hotel, asking for a coffee. We received an extremely warm welcome from a young lady who offered us a menu of coffees to choose from. We were taken to a table overlooking the harbour. After which we were very quickly served by another... More

We'd stayed here before, but had an inland room, above the pub next door with a window onto the alleyway and the countryside beyond. That was OK, but this time, WOW! ...we booked mid week to arrive on the Friday night, yet still managed to get a sea view room. After a leisurely drive down, we arrived quite hungry, so... More
