We met a friendly staff, who was willing to go the extra distance to meet our needs. We stayed at the main house and found it both interesting and romantic. The mattress in the bed was of good quality, and the poster bed was both squeak free and clean (as was the entire room). It was however a bit shorter... More

The location of this hotel is lovely, in the middle of the Jura contryside, near a river. But that's the only good thing about this place. The first thing that struck us when we walked in was a dirty smell, which was everywhere in the building and never left the place. Make sure you don't look at the floors, they... More

We were returning from Italy this summer and for a change took a chance on finding a hotel along the way. This turned out to be harder than we thought originally, so much of the Jura seemed to be depressed little towns with not a lot going on. That maybe unfair, it was summer and people could have been away... More

We stayed here with another couple. Our room was fine, being at the rear of the hotel overlooking the millpond and waterfall. It was great to drift off to sleep to the sound of crashing water! When we arrived at 14:45, we noted that reception was closed from 12:00 - 15:00. This was not a problem for us, even though... More

The hotel is in a stunning and quiet location but the staff were not particularly helpful. We booked a superior room as we read that the standard were very small and that there was no shower in the bathroom. Our friends who were travelling with us booked a standard room some Euros 40 cheaper than our per night. On arrival... More

We spent a long weekend at the hotel at the beginning of July. There was an initial confusion over which suite we had booked, but it was sorted out very quickly. The rooms were much cleaner than previous years and arriving at the hotel still provokes the same reaction of a large smile appearing on our faces. The hotel managers... More

A gorgeous location at the end of a lovely country road -- easy walk to some lovely cascades, and one right outside the hotel. It seemed as if the cleaning crew had taken a good deal of time off -- both inside and out. The rooms were quite dated and could use new mattresses and pillows. Bath had no shower... More

A beautiful period hotel in a stunning location which was situated a mere 10 min walk from tranquil cascades, a true gem. But, the service was......... abysmal. Delivered by arrogant rude staff which at best were ambivalent in their service. They lacked pride in providing anything resembling service. Eating at the Hotel's Micheline restaurant was completely spoilt by laissez, faire... More

We splurged out on the waterfall suite with jacuzzi after being stuck on an 8m boat for the week with a large labrador, no flushing toilets and a hose for a shower. Our room was heaven and no problem at all to have the dog in the room with us. Husband caught 3 trout in an hour in the mill... More

We had one of the upgraded room with balcony and nice view. Nothing special but a very peaceful location. Dinner in the dining room but again nothing special and the service was not very professional. Our Visa card would not work as their machine did not have a swiping feature and they did not know how to manually enter. Good... More
