A most impressive hotel - grand in style. Other reviews give major information. My thoughts are of comparison having stayed at the Al Husn in Muscat earlier in my holiday. (The Al Husn I have reviewed elsewhere on Trip Advisor). This is a close call between the two hotels. Both are of high standard in their dining options though we... More

We chose Al Bustan rather than Chedi Oman, following the poor reviews of the Chedi on trip advisor. The hotel and the grounds are fantastic and feels like a 5 star hotel. We shared a room for 6 nights and didn't feel cramped. However, for this level hotel, the service should have been better. The food options are limited -... More

After less than two days at the very poor Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Al Waha hotel (see review), we were looking for a far better alternative – i.e. a luxury hotel that can deliver on its promises. I called the Al Bustan Palace at 10AM and spoke to a terrific reservation agent there who offered a package matching what we... More

Our second stay at this hotel did not disappoint. Fabulously relaxing. Luxurious hotel with fantastic service from all the staff. They simply go out of their way to make sure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. So friendly and helpful. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and everyone made my day so special - from the... More

This place is stunning. The service is second to none globally. The hotel pools are beautiful, the beach breathtaking, the food just perfect. And above all the staff and people of Oman are the most friendly and welcoming I have come across. I will be back for a holiday.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. On the whole, it was a very enjoyable stay. I was upgraded to a sea-view room which provided wonderful views across the infinity pool to the beach and bay beyond. The room itself was very comfortable and well equipped, however I think that the bathroom is in need of modernisation -... More

A friend and I recently stayed at this hotel for six nights. There were many positives to our stay so I will start with these...the breakfast buffet with its fresh juices, great pastries and wide variety of offerings was a fabulous way to start the day. It was still cool enough so we sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed... More

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with the mountains one side and the sea the other. The staff were very friendly and we could not fault the food. The buffet nights in the hotel were amazing with everything to tempt the palate! Our bedroom led out onto a balcony which led out into one of the lagoon pools where... More

I cannot fault this hotel in any way. My husband treated me to a weekend here for my birthday, and it really was such a treat. The hotel and facilities are just stunning, and the staff are beyond lovely. We had an amazing stay and if it wasn't so expensive, we'd probably go back pretty often! One tip: Don't miss... More
