For sure the Chedi is the best designed Hotel in Muscat.Perfect to take Grand Pictures with and without models, snatch ideas for showy living- and bathrooms. Both Restaurant and Spa are fine and well run but still...to us it was not being @ home...as one should feel in a perfect hotel. OK, they would not take our membership in the... More

Quick read - The sea, spa and service make the Chedi Muscat an oasis of paradise - perfect for a ‘fly and flop’ holiday. Birdsong, swaying grasses and calls to prayer add to the ambience. This is marred only slightly by the noise of planes passing overhead (justified by the speed of getting from the airport). The entry-level Serai rooms... More

Nothing to say but: 1) normal rooms are expensive for what you get (our room was up to the pool) 2) the suites are really good: expensive but with everything: private pool etc. The place - beach boh, nothing special, the sea boh - airplane noise? yes they fly just over the hotel, they are high but you hear them.... One of our best stays anywhere. Understated charm and decor. Service is impectable. All food service is wonderful but don't miss dinner on the beach. The long pool and beach are well serviced and absolutely lovely. Even standard rooms are comfortable but on our return had an upgrade to suite which was divine. Highly recommended!

This is a truly great place to stay for a couple of days ( the longer the better). Wonderful setting, low-rise, very comfortable rooms/studios/villas, tranquil charm and luxury. The restaurants are all worthwhile, a true testimony to top Middle Eastern cuisine. The staff is discrete, gracious, very friendly and helpful. A top destination !

We have recently stayed for a week at the Chedi and we loved it!! The Chedi is located 15min away from the airport on a long beach. The resort is perfect for relaxation in a peaceful surroundings. We stayed here for a week to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and I'm writing this just before checking out. From the moment we arrived we were treated very well. Our room (standard "Serai" room, queen bed) was lovely and large, with separate dressing area and the lavatory & shower were behind separate opaque glass doors; privacy whilst also feeling... More

Just back from a week at The Chedi. I stayed in a Serai room which was more than adequate. The room is a good size, with walk in rainforest style shower accompanied by aqua di Parma products, sizeable dressing room. One nice touch is the free beer, water and soft drinks in the minibar. Equally for those coming from the... More
