The hotel was well located and we were in one of the updated rooms so it was pretty good. The service was ok and the restaurant was average. All in all, it was fine and can't really say anything bad about it but it didn't stand out in any way. It was clean.

The city (and hence the hotel, since it is situated by the city hall) is fairly well-located to explore other small towns in the area. Although most of Espalion commerce was strangely closed, we could find a nice restaurant at the doorstep. In general, the hotel is quite comfortable and I would recommend it for a short stay. Stopped at Espalion on our Compostela pilgrimage. The whole city seemed shut down. This hotel is near City Hall and the bridges over the Lot River, so the lication would be ideal if the town were alive. However, it seems that compared to other accomodations in town, this one is not so bad.

It's hard to fault this place in which we spent two peaceful nights. Air conditioning, easy parking, free wifi, a comfortable bed and a decent bathroom all for sixty euros a night.
