To visit and view the viaduct has been a desire for some time, and thanks to the recommendation of friends we stayed at the Chateau de Creissels overnight. When booking the visit, reception were understanding and most helpful, and gave us a room in the tower, so that we could view the viaduct from a distance just as long as we... More

Very attractive characterful old building with lots of stairs, so not easy for disabled access. Main building has restaurant on lower floor, common rooms, including a billiards table, on the ground floor and well equipped and spacious rooms on floors above. Located in the valley below the Millau Viaduct and great view of it from the terrace next to the... More

Booked for 3 nights an air-con room at ground-floor level in modern (garden) side and it was better than expected. Large, modern and with good air-con (essential in a heat wave). Good food (but better at Les Raspes nearby), lovely public areas and gardens with good parking. Pleasant village and plenty to do nearby. Helpful staff, but head waiter rather... More

Great room in the old part of the hotel. Really comfortable with a large bathroom with a shower and bath. Friendly welcoming staff with good English. Good facilities. Small outdoor pool and gym and wi-fi. Drinks and breakfast on the terrace was a good experience. The restaurant is worth a visit too with a great atmosphere in the old building... More

A great location, with good service and a wonderful restaurant with a balcony offering views of the town and the bridge. Rooms very comfortable. The gardens were a place to relax with a drink or take breakfast. Staff very attentive and take pride in their hotel. We stayed in the new extension but shown some rooms in the old part... More

Beautiful old chateau with lovely gardens. Staff very charming & helpful. Fabulous restaurant with vaulted terrace overlooking the Millau viaduct. We asked for 'une chamber calme' & got a balconied room overlooking the rooftops of a quiet residential neighbourhood. In contrast to the historic public areas of the hotel, the room was modern, white, even clinical, with no bedside lamps.... More

We were making our way from Cologne, Germany to Madrid, Spain, with a one-night stop to see the Millau Viaduct. We trained from Germany to Montpellier, then rented a car and drove to Millau. After a rushed visit to the scenic overlook, we rolled in to this chateau, where we had booked a room and dinner reservations. It was hot,... More

We were drawn to Millau by the bridge and this, part ancient part modern chateau is the perfect place from which to admire it, since it is high on an opposite hill and there is a lovely little view-point from which to watch the light change over it, with the swallows darting in the foreground. Our large room was in the... More

For our comments we could copy/paste the comments from the others. A great place, with a lot of character, beautiful garden, we had a room in the new wing, where all rooms are equipped with a nice terrace. When opening the doors to this terrace you hear a lot of birds singing in the nice garden. The restaurant also has... More

We had two nights in room 9 in the old castle part of the hotel and it was huge! I felt like I was lady of the manor walking up the grand staircase each time. This hotel is in a lovely location, has character and the staff are very friendly. We ate a la carte in the restaurant on the... More
