A charmingly done old chateau with a modern wing, a very warm welcome, a pleasing small pool with a view of the bridge of Millau, a pretty garden, and an outstanding restaurant. We booked because it fitted our itinerary, but I suspect we'll be back for a weekend of R and R in the not too distant future.

We booked their standard room for myself, my wife and our 18 month baby. We received a confirmation for our reservation for 2 adults + 1 baby. We then received an email, asking us to confirm whether the hotel needed to provide a baby cot (which I thought was obvious considering our booking details). We replied by the affirmative and... We stayed here for a single night in early May, greeted by a fantastic member of staff. She was incredibly welcoming, and unfrazzled by the request for drinks whilst busy. The little garden at the front of the hotel is charming, and a great spot to look at the view of the viaduct. I definitely recommend eating at the restaurant.... More

Stayed here for one night in April, so it wasn't really warm enough to take advantage of the pool and grounds. We had one of the old rooms overlooking the garden - definitely quirky, with lots of shabby chic character. (The old rooms at the back look out over the valley and the viuaduct, but also the industrial area in... More

The hotel is set just outside Millau (as in the bridge), just a short drive into town. The chateau dates back to the 12th century and has some great old features - the restaurant being an old vaulted example. There are no real grounds but the setting is good with views and easy parking. No problem with getting the Discovery... More

Lovely hotel in a very attractive setting. Our room was clean and modern with a spacious shower. Very good parking. The restaurant was a little cold when we were there and the set menus had no English translation but the food was absolutely excellent and we had good, attentive service. We can particularly recommend the trout starter and the braised... More

We've stayed here four times now. It is really hard to fault this hotel....It is in a charming location with fabulous views of the Viaduct, and over the town of Millau and surrounded by mountains. The building itself is in a lovely old castle, there is secure parking in the gardens with a nice pool. The staff are very helpful... More

So this is an old chateau where half of it burned down and was rebuilt. Unfortunately we stayed in one of the rooms in the new wing, which we found mediocre at best. The public areas are old and delightful and we saw some of the old wing rooms which were charming. This is a great location just across the... More

Once again we returned to this little château close to Millau in France. We were not disappointed. We actually stayed one extra day, we liked the place so much. We find the location, close to Millau and it's famous bridge, the service, the well appointed rooms as well as the restaurant located in the cellar, with its stones walls, together... More

We spent two nights here in order to explore the Gorges du Tarn and to experience the fabulous Millau viaduct which is visible from the hotel. We were delighted with what we found. Reception was very helpful and multilingual, the room we had in the old section was not huge but delightful with all facilities. There is also a nice... More
