We were two Canadian couples doing a wine tour who had the very good fortune of choosing this lovely place in the countryside. Isabel, our very charming and welcoming hostess is also a sommelier with an encyclopedic knowledge of the wineries in the area. Isabel has designed her hotel with the comfort of her guests in mind. The combination of... More

This was a very special 2 night visit, our first to Domaine Bel Aire and mainly down to Isabelle. Our room "Anthocyane" was in the recently converted stable block. It had character and was beautifully decorated. Though bijou and compact it was very cleverly designed with an upstairs bedroom with ample living space and storage downstairs. Very stylish and comfotable.... More

We traveled from South Africa to the Bordeaux region to attend a wedding, From the initial booking to the welcome on the arrival , we could not fault the service from Isabelle. She was warm and gracious and advised us to visit a restaurant near Bel Air for dinner on our first night. The pool and outside gardens are beautifully... More

My husband and I recently stayed here and before we even left, we were talking about coming back! A friend who lives in the area referred us and my husband, who is French, called Isabelle and it all started from there! She was extremely friendly, sweet, and helpful. We had a lot of questions about the location, places to eat,... More

I visited recently and could not fault this fabulous B&B Isabelle was friendly and knowledgeable and I visited some wonderful Chateaux on her recommendation. The rooms are immaculate and well decorated. The lovely pool area is great to relax by after a day exploring. One of the best places I have stayed. I would love to return.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Domaine de bel air and we were welcomed with warm arms by Isabelle and her family at this beautiful domaine (b and b style). We initially were planning to stay in saint emillion as we were attending a wedding but decided to look for a unique countryside location that offered a true... More

My husband and I stayed at Bel Air Carpe Diem during our recent visit to Bordeaux. This gorgeous little B&B was picture perfect and exactly how I imagined a traditional French country home to be. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated. There were lovely shady spots to relax in the gardens and a gorgeous, sparking blue pool to cool... More

Like most reviewers, I have nothing but good things to say about Bel-Air and the proprietor, Isabella. There is really nothing at all to fault. We were a family of 4 - my wife and I, and two college age girls, and our stay there was the highlight of our trip. The place is a beautifully converted old farmhouse that... More

Isabelle was a gracious and welcoming hostess for our one night stay. The room and gardens were beautifully finished and we were treated to a delicious breakfast. As a rural location it was picturesque and peaceful. Car is required to get around the local sites and restaurants.
