Our favourite place on the bike tour mainly because of the amazingly great food. The restaurant was first class with fabulous food, wine and service. The rooms are above the restaurant, all clean, bright and very modern although small and the noise did travel upstairs a little which is why we gave it 4 stars not 5 but forgave this... More

Hotel was fine, small but clean, smelled good, stairs to climb, BUT the restaurant on the terrace was superb, the pool was delightful, Breakfast, lunch and dinner outstanding, not to mention the great chef, and the local specialty products that were available for purchase. All Good!

Accepted booking by phone with no credit card needed. Staff most welcoming on arrival. Hotel looks like an old coaching inn on an old main road, now passed by in a pleasant village. The room was old but well decorated and furnished. No aircon but as is often the case with old French hotels, the thick walls and careful use... More

The hotel is famous for its food and I have to agree it was wonderful, and beautifully presented. There was no elevator and the stairs are very narrow for carrying your luggage up. The double room was very small and stuffy. One night lamp had a burnt-out bulb. The room backed onto the terrace and garden and was extremely noisy.... More

We stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday. We arrived around midday amidst 39 degree heat which felt like about 45, hot, dehydrated and shattered following a serious bout of food poisoning. If we'd had any option not to be cycling, we would have exercised it. The hotel let us have a room early, and as everything... More

Le Barp is more of a traffic crossing than a village. But the surroundings are nice. This small hotel seems mostly popular for its restaurant. In my opinion, the food was good, but not excellent. But we tried only the cheaper menu. On the other side the breakfast was fantastic. The only one to match it was hotel Charbonnel in... More
