We stayed a night for dinner and breakfast on the way to Arcachon. It is a surprising hotel and restaurant of some quality. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room which is part of a wooden cabin style outhouse near the pool. There was no extraneous noise outside the room but the air-conditioning unit was so... More

Found this Logis de France hotel when looking for a stop south of Bordeaux on the drive to the Pyrenees. In a little village in the middle of nowhere, it was a peach of a find, beautifully presented, clean, quirky but very professionally run. We had a large annex room with air con away from the main building, very private... More

After a trans-Atlantic flight we arrived in Bordeaux for the start of our vacation we looked for a hotel that would be a short drive from the airport. The Le Resinier was a perfect choice at a 20 minute ride, and it offered wonderful accommodations which allowed us to quickly re-group and get acclimated. The location was easy to find... More

We came to this hotel after a ride on the bike. The room was quite small, but nice. Somebody shold learn to wash the toilet here, not nice! But they had a wonderful swimming pool. After a lovely dinner, we went to bed to sleep. Thar was not easy although we were tired. We had to room over the restaurant,... More

Le Barp is not a village that one would normally rush to, nor is it on the way to somewhere more interesting, but the Sunday lunch the 4 of us had today at Le Resinier was very good, and worth a visit. The menu is varied and interesting in a very traditional French cuisine way, the way it is known... More

We had an overnight stay (B&B + one evening meal) on their deal. Staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. We were shown to the room called "Jardin", which was tucked away from the main building, which meant that we had no noise disruption at all. The room had a modern and quirky decor, with its own private little... More

This hotel is located in a renovated old building on a fairly busy road in a nondescript town in the middle of nowhere, but don't let that stop you. The hotel is full of charm, beautifully decorated, and the rooms, albeit quite small, are comfortable and well appointed. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly, and the in-house restaurant is... More

We'd heard great things about Le Resinier - the rooms, the food, the service. And after a long day's cycling (we were on a bike tour) we were ready for a magical stay!! Sure enough, we were met by a wonderful receptionist who showed us to our room (Sable) which was beautifully decorated in a beachy theme. The rooms here... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a bike tour through Bordeaux. The restaurant and the hotel are beautifully decorated. My husband and I kept commenting about how we wanted whoever decorated their establishment to come and decorate our home. The rooms were a little small, but definitely comfortable. The food was delicious (both dinner and breakfast). The ambiance... More

We came across this restaurant by chance on our way back from the French/Spanish border to Bordeaux. Rather inconspicuous in a sparsely populated area amidst of pine forests, the restaurant looks surprisingly modern and maintained, with all attendants wearing typical French berets. The three-course 'Marche du jour' from which we could choose different dishes was more than satisfying. Especially the... More
