Hotel with a lot of books, why?, probly because the rooms have no TV. We got a nice colorful room. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was a positive surprice. We had cod in the mountains and the meal was very good. A family runned hotel to recommend.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, full of local colour and character, with a garden full of plants and flowers and a large pool. The staff are very efficient while ensuring a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast and evening meal at the hotel and, although tiny, Mecina has a couple of other bars/restaurants and nearby villages like Pitres and Pampaneira... More

We had a room for four people which was very reasonable price. The balcony overlooking the valley was pleasant. The service was warm and friendly and nothing was too much bother - hot water for tisanes, books for guidance, information on the area. It was a very relaxing two days and this isa great place from which to explore the... More

We stayed for three nights whilst on a walking holiday and were charmed by the style of the hotel, full of art and interesting nooks and most wonderfully whilst we were there scented by the huge jasmine bush in the Arcadian gardens. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with a large flower filled terrace. Sadly we managed to... More

The two Victors were very welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble and we were given a particularly warm welcome (nd cava!) as the first British guests booked through Inntravel. Victor Senior managed to arrange tickets for us to visit the Alhambra palaces later in the week for a time and date when they were already sold out... More

This was a fantastic boutique hotel run by a congenial father & son (Victor & Victor). Stayed two nights while hiking in the Sierra Nevada's of Spain. Hotel was furnished with wonderful paintings & works of art. Over the top flowers & potted plants. Pool was refreshing after hard days of hiking. Bought local jewelry too. Food was deliciously prepared... More

Had a great stay - from the moment you enter you know this is special, a place with real character , nothing corporate here. The staff were great, welcoming and helpful . Loved the colour in my bedroom , books to read , food was delicious and pool and garden a delight.

We arrived after a wonderful though demanding full day walk in the GR 142 and we thought: et in Arcadia ego! What a beauty and what a charm! This hotel is as exceptional as its surroundings! We loved the way it's decorated, the colours, the plants, the pictures, the books. Not to speak about the food in the restaurant and... More

From my standards I would have to categorize this quaint hotel as a boutique hotel. Little pieces of art work, a green room filled with plants and book and magazine organized at different corners for their guests. The only have a television downstairs in the living room which I feel is much better than having one in a room. They... More

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it! The style, decor and atmosphere make this hotel a very special place to stay in. Having 2 young daughters in a rustic hotel might not be easy but Victor (the owner) did everything to make it as comfortable as we could be. He even gave one of the girls a gorgeous teddy... More
