We played 18 holes with quite possible the worse winds ever experienced..........however. The course was challenging but the views quite spectacular. A great course with friendly helpful members.

Great to hear that you enjoyed your 18 holes of Golf - even though it was so windy. Yes, the views across the bay are spectacular! Thanks for taking the time to post your review

My wife and I have just spent a two night package at this hotel along with my brother & wife, having first visited the place some 52 years ago, when a relative owned it. A few things have changed over the years, of course, but many of the old features remain, which is nice to see. Currently it's well managed...

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and our hospitality. We are certainly blessed with such a beautiful location overlooking the Bay and our kitchen team take much pride in making the most of the fresh local Cornish produce on our menus. We do take on board your comments about the mattress and will...

I have visited the bistro over half a dozen times now and have always left a happy customer. the weekday 2 or 3 course deals are excellent value and the food is always fresh and tasty. To top it all the setting is stunning and has beautiful views to Rame head and Looe bay.
I would thoroughly recommend this to...

We stayed here for a couple of days in order to play a game of golf. When we arrived we were a little taken aback as the hotel looks a little dated. However, the staff were a treasure and couldn't be faulted, the food was really superb [a real surprise and one that is worth a visit in itself] and...

Upon arrival at the hotel we were given the key to room 18. It had a small double bed with absolutely no space to move around in and so we asked to be moved. Four nights in such cramped surroundings would have spoilt our stay! Lady at reception was super and showed us the tower room! Split-level room with views...

Whitsand bay Hotel just gets better and better every year.
A unique place with views that are worth the stay alone. The fact that the food is beautifully presented and delicious is a bonus.
The Phillips family and their ever helpful staff are brilliant hosts, going out of their way to ensure that my family, which includes a 6 yr...

We recently attended a wedding at nearby Polhawn Fort and stayed at the Whitsand Bay Hotel for two nights. The hotel's location is fabulous with sea views, pretty gardens and a short walk down to the beach below. The hotel lounge is designed for comfort - big slouchy sofas, comfy chairs, and shelves brimming with well thumbed books and assorted...

Enjoyed a beautifully cooked and presented Saturday lunch here, with family for my mother in laws 88th birthday treat. Beautiful setting, stunning scenery, gorgeous sunny day. Exceptional value with their £10 for two courses or £12.50 for three. No grumbles at all and can highly recommend.

We found Whitsand Bay whilst on holiday in Cornwall last year and thought that the beaches were fantastic (reminiscent of those in France), a truly beautiful part of Britain that it largely unspoiled and is worth shouting out about. However the same can’t be said for the Whitsand Bay Hotel, which is the polar opposite. The hotel is shabby and...

We clearly recall your visit and feel it is necessary to add some balance. You called into the hotel to speculatively ask if we had accommodation. As it was August, we were very full with only a few rooms becoming available later that day. You made no reference to the fact that you had a baby child with you. As...

We stayed here on the groupon deal, paying £10 extra for a sea view room - and that was well worth it - fantastic to wake up to that, even (or perhaps especially!) on a February morning. Absolutely no complaints at all about this gem of a place - we were pleased with our room, the food and the service...
