I'd like to thank all at the Whitsand Bay Hotel for making my recent stay so enjoyable . I took my little dog there together with 4 other family members ( we had 3 rooms ) We stayed for a week whilst it true to say the building is tired and would benefit from a refit sometime in the next... More

Tired and dated, we stayed here for two nights at the end of July, it seems the hotel is owned and run by a three generations family that have no idea on running a hotel. The breakfast was poor the evening meal was no better than 'boil in the bag'. Our room was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed... More

Firstly I must say how beautiful the location of the hotel is; the building looks impressive upon arrival and the grounds are well kept. The lounge and reception area are also well presented (if a bit tired and scruffy) but the entrance is very grand upon first glance. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival and check... More

We are pleased you found our location to be beautiful, our grounds to be well-kept and overall setting to be fabulous. It’s also good to understand that our swimming pool and sauna were lovely facilities to use. We are genuinely sorry if you were unhappy with your food – had let us know, we would have certainly addressed this at... More

Stayed here last Monday night as my son had a County Golf Match on the Tuesday, so travelled down on the Monday so they could have a practise round. Booked a twin room which they said was a small twin, it was but perfect up in the attic with a fab sea view.

Was looking for a hotel that welcome dogs 2 night stay and i was amazed, beautiful location, walk down to the beach be aware of the walk back up, not for people with limited mobility (many steps) Very friendly staff and welcoming, our room was very clean and comfortable, my one issue which is my own is the stairs 3... Over 30 of us dined here. Lovely evening pre dinner drinks out side with stunning views. Later as we left full moon over the sea. Service efficient and staff attentive. We all ordered and paid. Individually and this was achieved with no fuss. I had the smoked duck delicious. Followed by baked cod (small portion) but not over cooked. A... More

just got home after 4 nights in this lovely hotel. on arrival we were worried about how far everything was to the hotel but we drove so it wasn't that bad really. From the outside we were amazed, the building has real character and i was sure it was haunted but wife assured me it wasn't. proof of this was... More

Depending on what you are looking for in a Southern English beachside hotel ( and yes - the beach is a short walk away, the hotel is atop a small cliff with uninterrupted Cornwall coastal views ), this could be your perfect holiday destination. However, as always, I will start with the caveats.... The Whitsand Bay Hotel is isolated. Situated... More

Many thanks. We couldn’t ask for a more compelling 5 star review title. We really appreciate it when guests enjoy the warm, unique character and qualities of our beautiful hotel and coastal position. As a family run business, we are happy to stand proudly apart from the standard chain hotel or contemporary lifestyle experience. Our genuinely friendly hospitality, great food... More
