We stayed on a Friday. There was a Steam Rally locally and the area was busy & narrow country roads difficult to negotiate as we kept having to pull in to allow other traffic through. Tony, the Owner, was very helpful & pleasant, as were the other staff. The room was an average double bedded room with en-suite, which was... More

Although the rooms are above a pub it was very quiet--but it was the middle of the week. Room included lots of plug ins, bottles of water, cookies, filter coffee and free parking. Wifi also free. Room #1 was large, clean and comfortable. The only other business in this very small town is a little store. Breakfast was great. We... More

We have just stayed the one night there and there were no problems at all . On the map it looks like it could be difficult to get to as its on country lanes but it is well sign posted . As we walked in the owner/landlord stood up said hello , took our bag of us straight away and... More

We booked in for Sunday lunch, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the sign outside proclaiming new chef, new menu, meant we had a lot to look forward to. As we sat down in the bar bay window, I noticed how grubby the area was with dead flies, black specks and an odd piece of broken plastic in the windowsill.... More

Booked a last minute room (rm 3) as wanted somewhere that we could take our dog. Tony was very accomodating and our room was lovely. Newly decorated, clean and plenty of room. Breakfast was more than adequate and set us up for the day. Unfortunately we weren't able to have an evening meal as we arrived Sunday evening when food... More

We arrived to a warm welcome from Tony who graciously carried my bag up to the room. The room was lovely, warm and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and plenty supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. We spent the evening there eating a well prepared meal and refreshing lager. Breakfast has cereal, fruit juice, toast and full English.... More
