A weekend break in a very beautiful hotel with rooms with plenty of space and facilities within. The staff at the hotel were excellent and very welcoming, could not be more helpful. The restaurant meal was exceptional and possibly one of the best meals I have ever had. The choice was very good and very well priced for a hotel... More

We had room 15, which is a well appointed room, although a bit dark. I would think some kind of sheer curtains would be useful, as if anyone walks past the window it's possible to look right into the room. Very good bathroom with good disabled facilities. There was no safe in room, which is a pity. Parking is outside... More

Had Christmas lunch here today as a treat for my mother. The price was at the higher end of the market for this, and surrounding areas, but the website appeared to show a homely high quality establishment, and reviews were reasonable. The restaurant lounge is a bit dated with vinyl seating reminiscent of a 70s night club. This was mixed... More

This was the second time we have visited Gibbon Bridge for a family meal and we were not disappointed on either occasion. The menu is comprehensive and the food cooked to perfection and beautifully presented by polite well mannered staff. After your meal sit and enjoy your coffee around the fireplace which is most ambient. The food it not cheap... More

Having previously been put off from having a meal here due to a slightly pompous lady on the phone we decided to give it another go and we were not disappointed. There is a little touch of pomposity about the place but it is a very good venue and the staff were charming once you had settled into the restaurant.... More

We recently had lunch here and the whole experience was actually nothing to write home about, but ' interesting' enough to write a TA review. After a leisurely drive through the beautiful English countryside we arrived at this impressive building and walked to the restaurant area. There was no one to welcome us and we had to hang up our... Booked to stay for the November champagne Saturday. Elected to pay more for a VIP suite. Following check in we found the room to be very cold as the radiators had not been turned on. I turned the thermostatic valves to full and my wife & I went into Clitheroe for the afternoon. When we arrived back the radiators were... More

First visit to Gibbon Bridge (and will not be our last). Lovely venue gorgeous scenery. Sunday Christmas lunch menu. Good range of options - between us we tried the deep fried goat's cheese, soup of the day and the potted shrimp starters. All excellent. Similar range for main course with the turkey dinner and salmon being our chosen options. Again... More

This is my favourite regular lunch spot. Step inside and your worries just drift away. Located just outside the lovely village of Chipping, set between the stunning Bleasdale Moors and Longridge Fell, this former working farm is now a lovely hotel and eatery. The food and service are excellent, and represent exceptional value for money. My favourites are the twice... More

We met up with family for a birthday celebration at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel. The location was very picturesque and on the whole the hotel was very good. It would be especially good for a wedding or large celebration as the setting was so lovely. The welcome was not very friendly as I think we were not met by the usual... More
