This was our fifth New Year's Eve at Inglewood Manor; we've stayed many times in the past six years, as well as holding a family celebration there, so feel we have plenty of experience on which to make a comparison. As always we were warmly welcomed and check-in was speedy. We settled in to our room then returned to the... More

A wonderful hotel that I am always glad and grateful to be able to stay at! A beautiful old manor house that is fantastically decorated and furbished. Staff are friendly, welcoming and also willing to go the extra mile. Molton Brown toiletries, BIG, soft, white, fluffy towels with heated and well lit mirrors in the bathroom. Beds are extremely comfortable... More

Stayed last Sunday night on a Wine Dine and Stay package. Reception was first class and we were given a complimentary glass of sherry and cake after checking in to one of their superbly re furbished rooms. A good evening meal with wine and next morning a full English breakfast. A very enjoyable experience in pleasant surroundings with excellent service

Hi David We're so glad you enjoyed our Wine, Dine and Stay package - it's such great value, isn't it? We've just popped the March dates on the website, so do take a look, and maybe come back and see us when the bluebells are in flower! More

Enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea here. Staff were friendly and attentive. Was the best afternoon tea I have had (have eaten a few!) and great value for money. The grounds and building are beautiful and make it feel really special. Looking forward to returning and trying the dinner menu!

We stayed here at Christmas for a family gathering. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and in fairness for a small wedding don't think you could get a better setting. However the food did let this hotel down. Seeing as they do cater for weddings a meal for 60 people should have not have been a big problem for them... More

We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist who advised firstly that we had been upgraded and secondly that sherry and cake would be waiting for us once we had settled in - not the greeting we get too often. This set the scene for a wonderful stay. Inglewood is a proper country house hotel: oak-panelled rooms and old fashioned courtesy,... More

This is a warm welcoming hotel situated in a listed Edwardian former grand home of a 1920's industrialist set in magnificent grounds about 15 minutes by car from Chester. Popular for weddings, Christmas parties and so on thus if staying privately for a quiet night or two best to check beforehand. The author has stayed here twice so far in... More

A great night in a convivial setting ,topped with a superb 3 course meal was spoilt with the last act of the night the coffees. Our waitress who was first class all night whispered in my. receptive ear that she made the finest Baileys coffee ever. Pity she never added that while the coffee was free the measure of Baileys cost... More

Hi Edward Thank you so much for what is a truly lovely review, and I'm so sorry you felt that the evening ended on a sour note. I have pulled out your bill, and you were indeed charged £4.95 each for your three liqueur coffees, which is the correct amount. Whilst a filter coffee is included in the menu price,... More

A new choice for our hotel stay prior to hitting the shops at Cheshire Oaks for my wife's birthday. We drove 4 hours through foul weather (Boxing Day) and arrived at 19:30. The entrance lobby was warm, inviting and tastefully decorated for Xmas. The pleasant receptionist was kind enough to leave her desk and point out some of the features... More
