I was not going to write this review as it might encourage you to go - so I would struggle to book again - but it would be unfair!! The grounds are wonderful. The staff superb. The welcome sincere. A lovely setting. Our room was excellent, nicely appointed and nothing was too much trouble for all the staff - they... More

A pleasant stay whilst on attending a course locally. The room was comfortable and well-equipped for my stay with a fan provided which was essential as it was the hottest day of the year so far. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and being able to have dinner outside on the first night was a treat. The food was... More

We stayed two nights in an 'executive room' - very small room for the extra we paid and it was supposed to be overlooking the gardens, I wouldn't call it that, more like roof view. Room not like the photo from the websites. Also, it seemed to be missing a coffee table from in front on the sofa, or why... More

My wife and I booked two nights (Sunday and Monday) at the hotel for a relaxing break from the stresses of life, and this we certainly got. The hotel is easily reached (just off the M53), but located down country lanes therefore all you hear is birdsong rather than traffic. The hotels is set in acres of grounds ranging from... More

Me and the Mrs went away for a nice weekend, grounds were charming and the room was characterful and well stocked. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant with good old fashioned, friendly service. Only downside is that every weekend there is bound to be a wedding, however I thought it added to its charm. Go on treat yourself.

Hi Nerf-meister Thanks for the great review. As you say, we do have weddings most weekends, but we also have lots of quiet bedrooms away from the festivities, and with 38 acres of gorgeous grounds, there's plenty of space to relax in. Do come back and see us again soon! More

We were treated by friends to afternoon tea at this lovely hotel. We were greeted in a very welcoming manner by staff and taken to a table of our choice outside on a large terrace with wonderful views over the gardens. We were brought a menu with a large choice of teas, coffees and of sandwiches, cakes and jams to... More

Hello bestfitter What a wonderful review! So much time, effort and care (not to mention money!) goes into planning a wedding, and it's always lovely to help be a part of such a special occasion. I'm so glad you feel we did your daughter proud, and will pass on your thanks to the whole team. More

Stayed over night at the Inglewood with a friend whilst we visited Chester racecourse. The hotel was ideally located to drive in to Chester. We were for-warned that there was a wedding party booked for our night but the restaurant was still open. This did not affect service. It was a shame that the restaurant was open plan so it... More

Hello flojo Many thanks for your lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I just wish you'd let us know that your breakfast was not as warm as you'd have liked, as we will always cook a breakfast fresh to order if that is the case. Do come back and see us again soon. More

Stayed here the night before my cousins big day and then again in a different room on the night of the wedding with my husband and toddler. As the maid of honour I found that pestering the staff was no trouble to them, they literally could not do enough to help us out... we forgot our tooth brushes... they provided... More

Hi Jen Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We love hosting weddings here, and it's so nice to hear that the staff's efforts to make every bride's big day as special as possible do not go unoticed. I will pass your kind words onto the team - they'll be thrilled! More

We haven't stayed at Inglewood since New Year's Eve so this was a welcome return for us. As always the welcome from Jeannie was warm and friendly, check-in was smooth. We'd asked to stay in room 30 which is on the top floor and tucked away. It's a comfortable and spacious room. Housekeeping throughout the hotel was very good. We... More

Lovely to welcome you back, Shropshire skiers - it's always so nice to see old friends! I'll have a chat with the chef about Sunday night's menus, but I think many of our guests do enjoy a traditional roas dinner on a Sunday, (we just need to make sure there are plenty of alternatives!) More
