Self catering property attached to Bright' s Farm . Very well situated for Halesworth and the Co-op if you need supplies or petrol. Plenty of beaches and sight seeing places to get to by car or even the train from Halesworth. The town has good eateries and parking. The owners are very helpful and the lodge has everything you need... More

We have just enjoyed 2 great weeks at the Farm hosting family and friends in the spacious accommodation. The Farm's location is great for exploring Suffolk. The accommodation is in the middle of a working farm with the local branch train line (few trains) nearby but these added to the holiday.

I had only ever been to Suffolk once before and that was for a day. I decided it was time to check the county out. My wife found the Lodge through Suffolk Cottage Holidays on the web. The Lodge was as advertised, well equipped, dog friendly and welcoming. The enclosed garden was ideally suited to our inquisitive spaniel Ellie. The... More

Belated review-sorry! This was a last minute birthday booking when it seemed Suffolk had the best weather in the UK and what is more, we had never been there! We stopped en route to visit Beth Chatto's garden near Colchester and then arrived to this very pleasant and quiet farmhouse, delightful hosts and 2 crazy dogs not to mention horses,... More

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Brights Farm. We stayed in the lodge which was probably the best equipped self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. So often the furnishings and kitchen equipment at self catering places is 'bargain basement' and you end up looking forward to going home if only for some comfortable furniture! No... More

We've just come back from a last-minute weekend break at Brights Farm, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet but conveniently situated b&b near the East Coast. It's only 15 mins to Southwold and less to Walberswick or Dunwich, and Darsham train station is only 5 mins away (the train line runs very close to the farmhouse... More

This was my second stay at Brights Farm after staying in the twin room a couple of years ago. I wanted to take my fiance for a trip for his birthday and was really glad that the double room was free. What can I say? It was as great, if not better, the second time. We had an amazing room... More

A few minutes off the A12 Lowestoft Road brings you to Brights Farm. I fully agree with the previous reviews regarding breakfast, rooms etc. Being a working farm makes it much more interesting than a conventional B&B. Shauna and Peter are very welcoming and guests can come and go without feeling intrusive to the hosts. The Queens Head a few... More

This B&B is a lovely find. We had a double room with the most enormous bed and gorgeous large bathroom, and to top it off windows on two sides overlooking the farm pond and some of the animals (horses and sheep mainly). We had a straightforward non-intimidating welcome and were asked what we would like with great attention to detail.... More

Brights Farm is a B&B, set on an Organic Farm in rural Suffolk. It's a working farm, and is really peaceful. We had a double room that was en-suite. The room was very nice, it was clean and furnished to a high standard. The double bed was the biggest we had ever seen, and the electric blankets made for a... More
