Enjoyable onenight stay at Earlsferry House in April. Superb grounds and great location to Swan Valley attractions. Blue room very spacoius and comfortable. Friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts. Hope to be back later in year for longer stay.

We have stayed here five or six times on our way up north from Perth. Fantastic location close to the airport, along the river, and within walking distance of restaurants and shops in Guildford. The owners, Jane and Martin, are so accommodating and the breakfasts are delicious. Martin makes gorgeous welded sculptures that adorn the grounds.

Earlsferry is a very pretty, restored, early 20th century house of some local significance. Friendly and helpful hosts. The attractive gardens are adorned with the owner's very impressive metal sculptures. Unfortunately, the rooms are too small to properly describe the accommodation as luxurious. Furthermore, the noise from planes, trains, and automobiles spoils the tranquility of the place. On the upside,... More

This is a great plasce to stay to explore the Swan Valley. Over the river from the historical toen of Guildford it is also very close to the Swan Valley and the many wineries and boutique eatieries and gourmet food and drink establishments the are has to offer. What a treat to stay in this lovingly and authentically restored home. Earlsferry House in Bassendean is so handy to the Swan River wineries, historic Guildford and the train station is only a five minute walk. The inexpensive, local and very regular train service made getting in and out of Perth and continuing on the same train line on down... More

We were initially shocked to realise the house is nestled between the main road and the railway line on opposite boundaries. The road did not have large trucks and the railway was away from the station and road crossings so the noise was minimal We are good sleepers so no issue for us If you are a light sleeper, then... My husband and I stayed here for one night in the River Room. We could not have been happier with the accommodation or the service we received. Arriving on a wet and cold winters night we were invited in to a cosy warm room and made to feel instantly welcome. The house and its contents are fascinating and with the... More

We stayed one night at Earlsferry for a birthday getaway in the Swan Valley area. Jane and Martin were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Verandah room which was spacious and the ensuite bathroom was modern and very clean. The room looked like maybe the smallest of them all but was still really roomy and had everything you... More

We stayed at Earlsferry for one night in mid December 2013, after a day touring the Swan Valley and Guildford. We were stunned by this amazing property with so much interesting history and beautiful kept by Jane and Martin, our hosts. They were very friendly and helpful and we particularly enjoyed Martin's incredible metal art....out of this world! We would... More

We stayed in the 'river room' for 3 nights at this beautiful home on the banks of the Swan River. The room was very spacious and led onto the balcony with views over the lovely garden and river. The house is close to the Swan Valley wineries and Perth hills which were blessed with a vast array of wildflowers while... More
