Rude staff. Heard the manager swear at a guest. The cleaning girls and the waitress with the big smile are the only nice ppl Foxtel does not work and don't expect them to know how to fix it The pond outside the rooms is full of duck crap as is your verandah so dont leave shoes or boards or clothes... This modern hotel is located right on the beach at Caves Beach. It is very chick and airy. The very spacious Bistro has inside and outside seating all with outstanding beach & ocean views. The outside seating is on several expansive timber decks under large market umbrellas. The food menu is varied and moderately priced. We three chose prawn cutlets,... More

We stayed for two nights in one of the units closest to the beach. Our unit, number 11, was directly on the lagoon with no walkway in front. The setting was very pleasant and the set out of the unit was attractive and well designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the open plan bathroom very large and modern. People will... More

We were guests at wedding at this hotel and we stayed in the bungalows near the artificial lake behind the main hotel building. The accommodation is fresh and new with plenty of natural light. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom features a deep bath and a luxury monsoon shower. The main hotel offers generous bistro meals.... More

To call it a B&B is a bit of a stretch. It's really a group of bungalows overlooking some duck ponds at the rear of a big pub. The facility is new however which is a plus, and the pub has a bistro so you can eat. But there is nothing else around except the beach. If that's what you... More

My name is Brad Williams. My daughter had her wedding at Caves Beach on the weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The complex is perfect for this type of event. It was all arranged through Adam who is employed there and nothing was a problem for him. For the last 6 mths this has been planned and Adam was... More

We stopped by here to eat. I couldn't find the restaurant and stood next to the man at reception who ignored me for a full 5 minutes while he put a number into an eftpos machine manually.....not looking up once! Without apology he gave me directions. We ordered but it took ages, however the food was beautiful and worth the... More

We have just returned from our Anniversary weekend at this lovely spot nestled away, leaving you feeling your miles away from the hustle & bustle. Check-in was done with a warm greeting & the staff were nothing short of helpful full of any information that was required. We had booked a Spa Suite, #8 for 2 nights, which left us... More

Food was excellent and was served to table quickly. Spicy squid was delish. Only downfall is a glass of coke $4.20 that's very expensive considering it out of a gun. May as well drink beer at that price. That's the only let down but resort and pub is nice and terrace has great views

We spent a long weekend at the "Resort" in one of the rooms near the beach. Very nice and private (we followed the tips for the more private rooms) with good fixtures and fittings. We used the Bistro Restaurant on the Friday night and the more private one on the Saturday with no problems. Service was quick and professional with... More
