We stayed 3 nights recently and used this as a base to explore the surrounds. Spacious, clean and purpose-built, our room was large with a great bathroom shower and comfortable bed. The focus on conserving energy was evident in the overall design of the building. The staff were always helpful and cheerful and did everything to make us comfortable. We... More

Stayed while on a work trip and found this hotel very good. The hotel is set near Netherley about 20 minutes from Aberdeen in a very quiet area. Great for getting a good nights sleep. The hotel staff are very accommodating and welcoming. Check in was nice and simple. I stayed in Room 17 for 2 nights. Facilities in the... More

Great room, huge amount of space. Very well decorated in nice neutral colors, fantastic shower and bathroom facilities. Staff are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The breakfasts are great too, loads of good food to choose from, and in a nice dining room. The pub next door also serves a fantastic fillet steak! (Highly recommended) I'd gladly... More

In rural area west of Portlethen and south of Aberdeen the Lodge is worth finding as it provides excellent 'standard' bedroom accommodation with very good en-suite. Only breakfasts are available but adjoining there is a good pub/restaurant. The Lodge is well looked after and an extension of about eight further bedrooms seems to be in the pipeline. Worth checking price... More

A wonderful oasis away from the madness of buzzing Aberdeen, here you have the best of both worlds with a true Scottish welcome. The lodge is immaculate and tastefully styled without being pretentious. The breakfast is to die for, the service impeccable and the views are magnificent. Lovely rural location, but right next door to a pub where the food... More

Like many business travellers we have a budget and accommodation in Aberdeen is usually veering on the expensive side to say the least! This place is fine for the area at £110 per night via Booking dot Com. It takes you about 30 minutes to commute to Aberdeen (school holiday time). Rooms are spacious and clean. Furnishing is basic, bedding... More

I was very impressed with Lairhillock Lodge. Owners were lovely people who were both welcoming and professional. Room was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated as well. I loved the lodge’s rural setting, which was restful and peaceful. Despite its rural location the lodge is conveniently located near Aberdeen by car. Received attentive customer service from the staff in... More

Second stay here, only a 15/20 minute drive into Aberdeen ,clean comfortable accommodation , good self serve breakfast with plenty of choice. Just walk across to the Inn for evening drink/food, the food there is excellent and reasonable value. My first choice every time for my Aberdeen trip.

Stayed for 2 nights for work, room spotlessly clean, spacious, flat screen tv, wet room bathroom. I assume the hotel was recently modernised as everything looks new. The bed in room 16 is a bit uncomfortable, you can feel the springs, it needs a new mattress or upgrade. Breakfast nice usual self service style no complaints. No bar or restaurant... More

I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip to Aberdeen. My reasoning was mostly a protest at the rip-off prices demanded by most Aberdonian hotels. This out-of-the-way house seemed to be more than a B&B but not quite a hotel - being expensive compared to the former but relatively cheap compared to the latter at £90 per night.... More
