We stayed here for a night in a very comfortable double room, while walking the Camino. We loved our stay as the restaurant is very nice with good food, they have a decent bar, though perhaps a bit hot with the sun shining directly through, and they have a nice lawn area with benches to relax on. The room was... More

We are walking the Camino and on the last 25 Klms. We book ahead not knowing too much and when we saw what a modern Hotel it was we were surprised. The beds were wonderful, food quite good. Surprise the had Hendricks Gin so enjoyed a great G & T. Because we had to leave early as our walk was... More

I stayed here in May when walking the Camino and it was one of my favourite places, I would definitely stay here again. It is both a hotel and an albergue, I stayed in the hotel and it was lovely. An old stone house that has been renovated and fitted with very modern rooms. The power shower was just what... More

A small group of us just "ran out of gas" just as we hit the intersection of the Camino and the small road that ran right by this wonderful discovery. The owner was most gracious in showing us the albergue accommodation to which we eagerly said YES!". This was the finest albergue (for any of us) on the entire Camino... More

Tucked in a tiny Galacian village we find this modern tasteful tourist resort! It caters to the Camino walkers so there is a good dormitory but also attractive modern double rooms, The english speaking manager/ owner has his whole family helping and it's efficient, attractive and very reasonably priced. The meals on site are fantastic... Simple breakfast is included in... More

We stayed at the Pousada in the last weekend. We had a great welcome from the staff and everything was so easy. Although the breakfast was very basic (not enough for a long day walking in Santiago) the wonderful dinner was unforgettable. The rooms were perfectly decorated. The pousada is around 20 Km away from the City Centre (20 minutes... More

We were somewhere between Arzua and St Irene and needed a rest, another peregrino told us, "there is nothing in Salceda"... However. we left the camino trail and walked one Km to Salceda. It seemed to be a Hamlet of private houses. We followed the sign to Pousada de Salceda . It looked like a private farm, Well what a... More
