Casa Touristico Salceda is a hotel, Albergue and fine restaurant. It's about 200 meters off the Camino and well worth the walk. The facilities are very good, the people warm and friendly and the food very, very good. It's all home cooked by train professionals with high quality ingredients. I would stay here even if I wasn't walking the Camino.... More

This was a lovely location, quiet because it was outside of town but with plenty of amenities. I liked the swing chairs by the pond, and I appreciated the fact that the on-site restaurant served food all afternoon and not just during certain hours. The people running the hotel were wonderful and very helpful. But it was hot. So. Hot.... More

Good afternoon. Sorry you went hot, but we have air conditioning in the hotel, if you spend heat have to talk to staff, do not solve the problem in Trypavisor warning. Best regards. More

Came across this place by chance following a gruelling cycle on the Camino from Portomarín. Tired and weary we were greeted with utmost hospitality by Santiago (the owner) and his family. Being our last night on the Camino before rolling into Santiago de Compostela we appreciated the luxurious retreat that is Salceda. Food was top quality restaurant standard - no... More

After 3 consecutive nights in beautiful little boutique hotels, I was a little disappointed when we arrived here. But although it has no character to speak of, it is more than satisfactory. We stayed in rooms with ensuite bathrooms -- a section of the albergue called "Posada de Salceda." This was the name on our voucher, but it was difficult... More

Small room but clean and comfortable.Didn't like the fact that you had to hold the shower while showering.Food good.Nice courtyard to sit in and chat with fellow Camino travellers.Big downside was the dogs barked most of the night.

Stayed here for one night while walking the Camino. We had walked 28km that day so the owner kindly picked us up in Arzua. It is 12km to the property but it's along the camino route if you wanted to stop further along from Arzua. He kindly got a lift for us the next morning too back to Arzua where... More

This is a fabulous place isolated on the Camino way (way of St James). You will see from the photos why this place is so special. But what is not apparent is the welcome that you get when you arrive here. The owner/manager is a lovely guy, his ability to speak several languages helps - we heard him speaking spanish... More

Three of us doing the camino stayed here late April. The accommodation in the albergue is wonderful as we're the menu del dai and breakfast. If you are looking for somewhere to stay on the Camino in this area then look mo further. Santiago and his family are wonderful hosts.

We stayed here during April in a double & a triple room. Photos don't do it justice, really stylish, spotlessly clean & comfortable. Food was fantastic, chef/owner could be seen cooking in his kitchen & checked that we had enjoyed our meal. Family owned which made a real difference, every request was no problem - even bringing tea & toast... More

We stayed here for a night in a very comfortable double room, while walking the Camino. We loved our stay as the restaurant is very nice with good food, they have a decent bar, though perhaps a bit hot with the sun shining directly through, and they have a nice lawn area with benches to relax on. The room was... More
