Miguel Santiago is an incredibly friendly and helpful host. He even booked us our accommodation in Santiago de Compostella with no fuss. Dinner (Pilgrims Menu) and Breakfast were both excellent. It was the perfect end to the Camino before entering the busyness of Santiago. I have no doubt I will be staying here again next time. Thoroughly recommend it to... More

We were amazed at the quality of our pilgrim's menu. All freshly cooked, with delicious vegetables, great presentation and thoughtful ingredients. It was restaurant quality and that's not something you can say often about pilgrim's menu. And still only 10E! The man (owner?) who checked us in and served us was incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. We stayed in a private... More

Off the trail a bit, but well worth it. You walk into what looks like a small street and neighborhood and there you are. An oasis with a killer restaurant, beautiful rooms and baths, and nice grounds...great gathering place for we pilgrims. Even a cold pool for your tired feet. Again, the food and beverages were wonderful and affordable. We... More

If you are walking the Camino and not following the usual stops, plan to stop at Alburgue Touistico Salceda for a great relaxing stay in a nice room with great food. Salceda is located so that it makes a great stop a couple ahead of entering Santiago de Compostella. Santiago and family are great host and helpful in many ways.... More

This is a smart, attractive hotel with a mix of solid stone and contemporary materials in the design. The bedroom and bathroom we had were of a reasonable size and prettily presented although the body wash dispenser was empty and a request for more soap to add to the square inch we had to start with was met with only... Just when we thought we had seen what all the albuergues had to offer we stopped in at Albergue Turistico Salceda. It is a very contemporary design integrated into a 300 year old 2 story building. The double rooms have windows in the ceiling for light and air, modern bathrooms, and a minimalist design. Meals are wonderful and inexpensive. Breakfast... More

We had the good fortune of the hotel we booked having no water and they rebooked us here. It was fab. Amazingly friendly staff, a footpool for Camino-weary feet, lovely gardens and - the complete high point - a great restaurant. We had the speciality - the Galician beef - and it was to die for (and less than a... More

Fantastic option during El Camino. Safe, clean, modern, comfortable hotel. The Restaurant is a 5 star place, best meal during the entire Camino. Fantastic shower in room. Wifi was a bit weak but went to hallway and was able to finish my mails.

Casa Touristico Salceda is a hotel, Albergue and fine restaurant. It's about 200 meters off the Camino and well worth the walk. The facilities are very good, the people warm and friendly and the food very, very good. It's all home cooked by train professionals with high quality ingredients. I would stay here even if I wasn't walking the Camino.... More

This was a lovely location, quiet because it was outside of town but with plenty of amenities. I liked the swing chairs by the pond, and I appreciated the fact that the on-site restaurant served food all afternoon and not just during certain hours. The people running the hotel were wonderful and very helpful. But it was hot. So. Hot.... More

Good afternoon. Sorry you went hot, but we have air conditioning in the hotel, if you spend heat have to talk to staff, do not solve the problem in Trypavisor warning. Best regards. More
