We did the Santiago de Compostela Trail and, at O Pedrouso/ O Pino, the last city before the end of the journey, we stayed at O Muino. All that a tired pilgrim may desire after a long journey. Xavier, the owner, picked us up at the KM 17 of the trail, took us to the hotel. Place is beautiful, clean,... More

If you're a peregrino looking for hug meals and convenience to the Camino, Muino de Pena may not be the right choice. The food is fabulous, but unlike most Spanish/Galician hotels, dinner does not feel as though you're being force-fed to enlarge your liver. It's a lovely hotel, not terribly close (but not too far) from the Camino Frances to... More

This guest house was beautiful with winding paths through the woods along a nice cool stream. We stayed here after hiking the Camino for the day. The food was horrible. There was little flavor and the portions were rather light for a place that caters to guests hiking all day. The staff were not interested in their guests and the... More

We stayed here when walking the Camino de Santiago but had to have transfers as it is a little way from the walk. We had a nice room and bathroom in the restored mill. There are nice bits and pieces which add to the charm of the place. Food was good but not very plentiful - particularly for people doing... More

This hotel is located in a nice natural setting; there is trecking route alongside the river, that seems nice, but after walking in the camino, you do not want to walk any more. Contrary to other reviews, accomodations are not what we expected, rooms are small, bathrooms dated, small window, heating and air conditioning a bit noisy. On the positive,... More

We stayed at O Muino de Pena while walking the Camino. The place was a bit difficult to find and when we did their driveway was a big DROP down. The interior of the building was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious enough and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. It took about 3 minutes to go... More

Lovely, enchanting, historic old mill transformed into a comfortable and relaxing accommodation off the beaten track. Transfers from town were swift and effortless and once checked in it was easy to find a tranquil spot outside by the river to enjoy a delicious cafe con leche. Staff were very attentive and dinner was as entertaining as it was delicious! If... More

A converted mill a few km off of the Camino de Compostela. They picked us up and dropped us off the main trail. Great ambiance and welcoming staff. The wine and food were very good. If walking the Camino, this is a great spot to spend the last night before Santiago. If visiting the area, a lovely place to kick... More

We have just had a great experience in this hotel. After a long days walking on the Camino we were amazed at the history of the hotel. But our experience was one of being made welcome.
