What a fantastic 2 days we spent at Moorefield B&B. Sheila has thought of everything. Superb furnishings, extremely comfortable bed, spacious and powerful shower, spotless room and a wonderful breakfast. Sheila could not have been more helpful and easy to chat to. This is a B&B we would highly recommend to all our friends. It is also in a very... More

Just about everything about our 2 night stay at Moorfield house was perfect. Quiet location, spacious room with a very good bed and nice shower room (with Highland Soaps toiletries - devine!) and a truly scrumptious, super fresh breakfast. Sheila also gave us great advice on walks and dining out. And an apple for the road. :-) If we are... More

Deciding to take a longer and more scenic route than usual to the Isle of Mull, I decided to find somewhere to stay on the Ardamurchan Peninsula....and Moorfield House seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I was not disappointed. It is perfectly located in a secluded spot next to the River Shiel but with access to eateries and facilities in... More

What an amazing find!! Sheila and Martin own a beautiful home in Acharacle, which is a great location for exploring the whole peninsula. They were extremely welcoming, but not intrusive, and our room with en-suite, was lovely. The breakfasts were FANTASTIC, and Sheila makes the most amazing lemon curd.............I feel slightly strange raving about this place, as we kind of... More

We stayed here in July 2012 for 4 nights. This B&B has the one guest room and it is very homely, comfortable and clean. The garden and patio are welcoming and attractive. Sheila and Martin are excellent hosts and ensured we were well looked after, without being overbearing. Breakfast is taken in the big kitchen, all freshly cooked. The B&B... More

Moorfield House has a great location, a beautiful garden and courtyard perfect for late afternoon wine, simple elegant rooms and delightful country style breakfast. Our host, Sheila was delightful and the room had extra details such as local toiletries. The surrounding area is stunning and although we were only able to stay one night, I urge future guests to stay... More

Comfortable new house, great host, great breakfast. We enjoyed walking in the yard and garden. Highly recommended, would like to return some day. The little dog Spud was very friendly also.
