5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here for one night, had a night in the beautiful AT park and then another night back at Marahau Lodge. On return we were offered what I assume must be the honeymoon suite. It was huge and very well furnished. Both rooms we stayed in were tastefully decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean. Parking is available right outside your... More

The staff was fantastic and the rooms were spacious and well-equipped. The place was a bargain at about $140/night right. Apparently, the rooms are going to be redone soon. They had laundry and a kitchen as well.

This was by far the best lodge we stayed at on our 3 week family trip all over NZ. Owners are amazingly friendly and helpful couple and it shows in how efficient this place is. Kitchen has anything your heart desires and it very clean. Rooms are very comfortable. Most importantly this lodge is very close to the beach and... More

We stayed two nights here while hiking at Abel Tasman Park, and were so impressed with the clean, tasteful, and pleasant accommodations, the incredibly helpful host and hostess, and the beautiful location. We were able to catch up on laundry, sleep, and to satiate ourselves on the beauty of the park. There are three restaurants within a short walking distance,... More

Great comfortable accommodation, friendly owners who have thought of everything we might need & couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommended as a place to stay at the end of a walk in AbelTasman Park.

We only stayed here one night, but it was a wonderful experience. It's in an absolutely gorgeous place, walking distance from the start of the Abel Tasman Coast Track (which was perfect for us), the rooms are excellently appointed, and the staff are amazingly helpful. We had many questions and they quickly and happily answered all of them, and even,... More

This lodge provided a wonderful setting and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was a great location for visiting Abel Tasman National Park and the lodge provided us with packed lunches when we walked a day of the Abel Tasman Track. There were breakfast and evening meal options within... More

The gardens and grounds around this hotel are beautiful! The host and hostess are friendly and helpful. The room was charming, comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast, brought to our room, was delicious. You can't find a better spot to stay when visiting Abel Tasman National Park.

We decided to stay in Marahau for a night before our kayak/aqua packers night. It was great to have one night to just relax. If you don't stay in Marahau (or another nearby town), you have to get up at the crack of dawn to start your Abel Tasman tour. Joss and her husband recently purchased the lodge and are... More

Stayed for two nights at this wonderful lodge. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. The accommodation was rustic, in a positive way, but had all you would need for a great few days. Location was perfect for exploring Abel Tasman National Park and there are two excellent restaurants within walking distance. If you are self catering there is... More
