We used a powered site for our stay here. The location is perfect for Abel Tasman. The kitchens were well equipped, with lots of fridges etc. The showers and toilets were clean enough - not as good as some other sites but certainly not bad at all. If you're looking for a quiet campsite this isn't it as it's quite... More

Really nice "hostel", little cottages with comfortable beds, clean areas, nice outdoor kitchen, tv lounge etc. In nature, surrounded by mountains and 5 minutes away from a long and beautiful costal walk. I recommend it, can be a bit noisy because of all the buses but still pretty nice.

This is a great backpackers lodge and they also have campsites and cabins. The kitchen facility is great very "hostel" style. They also have plenty of showers and bathrooms. I highly would recommend this!

We stayed in this hostel for 2 nights on our trip around New Zealand. The hostel is ideally located right beside the Able Tasman National Park. The dorm rooms were like brand new, really clean and plenty of space for 5 people. Each bed had its own socket which was great for charging phones etc. The kitchen is massive! Plenty... More

We arrived on the 4th March in the evening setup camp and was amazed with the facilities. The weather on the 5th was amazing so booked in for another night. Woke up on the 6th to a storm and our tent flooded. Our fault. We were very impressed with the camp, games room, tv room, 3 kitchen areas. Bbq areas.... More

My gf and I stayed for a couple of nights in a double cabin. Such a nice spot. Ocean views, 2 mins from the entrance to Abel Tasman park. Good facilities and great location. Ask for an ocean view, play some badminton or twister and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world. We didn't have a car... More

great location, close to the national park for walks and kayaking. We booked for a double cabin, which was confirmed more than a month in advance, and upon arrival they said they didn't have any doubles available and we were put in a twin cabin, which had no power as apposed to the doubles which did. This was not a... More

Superb spot right by the National Park with great views!. Superb facilities and welcoming owners! Just obey the "private property signs" and stick to the more than ample space of the site. We'll be back!

We stayed as part of our Stray Bus trip, hopping off to do the Abel Tasman Costal Walk. Really great location, literally a minutes walk from the entrance to the national park. The first night we stayed in a 6 bed dorm room, really great everyone had a single bed and a plug socket. Shower facilities and kitchen were good.... More

We stayed at The Barn in Marahau for 3 nights in February. This is basically a camping site with a collection of huts. We had a powered double (2 person) hut. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was very clean and warm. They provide towels, wash clothes, and hand towels that were also very clean and of reasonably... More
