We stayed here in January 2014 for 2 days it was meant to be for four days, The pool area needs more attention to it as it is covered in spiders and cobwebs, We were also charged for the usage of the pool. The dinner table in the unit was covered in white fluff like stuff and had been covered... More

We were in a jam and needed a place to stay. This place was expensive and not worth the money. The towels were stiff as boards and dark blue in color surely hiding stains. The kitchenette was ill-equipped and the place was a dump. Don't stay here!

We stayed here February 2014. The room we got was very spacious which was good. In the bathroom there were insects all over the window sills, the toilet bowl on the outside was dirty and the toilet room smelt of urine. in all areas it needed a good vaccum around the edges of the walls. there were lots of cobwebs... Placed looked clean on the face on it but was dirty in places. Decor including curtains, carpet, toaster, pans and chairs and tables need replacing in my opinion. Hob took for ever to heat up and numbers ( for heat settings) were long gone. Toaster was difficult to work and bathroom dirt in corners was off putting. The thermal pools were ok... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights for our Ski Trip at Whakappa. The motel is 30 min drive from the Whajappa Ski fields - which is nice and handy. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful - they waited for us till late night before we could make it from Wellington on a Friday. Our... More

We had booked for 3 people and turned up as a couple the third (teenager) pulled out at last minute, we weren't charged any fee/penalty just the basic room rate for 2. Staff (owners) were friendly and helpful with a good tour of the site and facilities. It doesn't appear to be 5 star or pretend to be but units... More

We have stayed here more than once and we (plus many of our friends and family) always come back when we're in this part of the country. The units are spacious and warm; ours had a heat pump and a large mezzanine sleeping area with several beds as well as a separate master bedroom, which would make it great for... More
