We booked a deal at this hotel and was not expecting much having read the reviews. The hotel is rambling and a bit tired in places. It is used for conferences etc so probably can be busy and a bit noisy at times. The only time we found it noisy was one night in the bar. Check in/out - no... More

Booked this hotel as we were attending the Silverstone classic weekend and were initially only going Saturday but then won tickets for the Sunday and needed somewhere to stay with short notice. Majority of hotels were full or charging over the odds but the price for this hotel seemed fair. We then read the reviews and thought oh dear however... More

Stayed here last weekend, on the whole the hotel was fine and the staff at reception were polite and helpful...now the bad bit ..the bar...although pleasant and comfortable the prices were ridiculous..standard pint of beer / lager around £4.80 however if you want a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc they will charge you £11.00...yes £11.00, when I question Dave the... We have stayed here several times due to its good location for Silverstone......it gets worse each time. Chaotic check in, indifferent staff (except the bar where they really try), grubby public areas that never seem to be cleaned, tired worn out rooms, grubby bathrooms, rowdy atmosphere due to parties and weddings, ridiculous bar and bar food prices . If you... More

Our 4th business trip incorporating a stay in this 4 star hotel. Previous visits have been fine. There has been a two year gap since our last stay. This hotel has aged - every area of the hotel is tired including the leisure facilities. The changing rooms are rusty on the metal furnishings - the jacuzzi is falling to bits,... More

We chose this hotel, thinking that the De Vere name would guarantee a certain level of quality and comfort, sadly we were wrong. Upon arrival the car park was very large and extremely busy, we thought this a good sign, obviously being popular. There were a few guests waiting to check in upon arrival, but they were not seen in... More

We checked in for 2 nights using a wowcher deal for £99.00- evening meal included and breakfast on both mornings. Check in was fine. Free tea and coffee facilities in reception area. We made our way to the room which was nice. Twin beds pushed together (not very romantic for a couples get away.) Smaller than single beds. Rooms very... More

We've stayed here several times and not had a problem. This time however - where do I start?! We had a 'superior' room with dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings. The welcome at reception was friendly and efficient. Our room was larger than previous rooms we'd had there, with a queen size bed. That's where the good... More

We were attending a wedding at the excellent dodsford manor , which does not have accordantion. We stayed here , a short taxi ride away. Rooms were functional , shower a bit of a dribble . No EE signal in the room and couldn't find a wi fi connection. Breakfast was tasty, good buffet selection. Certainly ok for overnight stay,... More

We stayed here after a wedding (this was the hotel connected to the venue I believe), however it was not really up to standard. Large cracks in the walls, paint peeling, showers which don't function properly, general decor looking tired, beds not made properly in a friends room, no alternative for breakfast when we had to depart early (staff seemed...
