We ended up being double booked during a work trip over the Christmas /New Year period. We booked Amamoor Lodge through a website at 8pm and received a call immediately from the owner. They were so accommodating and were happy to wait until 9:30pm for our arrival. The rooms were so lovely, and there was freshly baked cake and everything... More

My husband and i had two nights at Amamoor lodge over the long weekend. We spent a day at rainbow beach (about an hour away) and it was so nice coming back to a quiet retreat away from all the people. Malcolm and Christine were very welcoming and their attention to detail was perfect. We had an amazing stay, and... More

Lovely room, friendly hosts with cakes on arrival & a fabulous breakfast. Set in 50 acres, great walk to the top of the hill with lovely sunset. No lights around at night so sat on balcony with a light show from the stars.

We made a one night stay at the Lodge on a Saturday in October 2015. Our room was excellent, large with two exits to the veranda. We were given a welcoming afternoon tea from Christine and Malcolm, our very hospitable hosts and enjoyed a peaceful Saturday evening in the most tranquil of surroundings. The Lodge sits on 50 acres allowing... More

This is an immaculate lodge run by a couple who obviously care deeply about what they do. Their efforts are reflected in the attention to detail that is evident through out the property. This place has a peaceful atmosphere with an interesting rural history. Thanks for the stay. Highly recommended.

Having grown up in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, and with a brother at Tandur on the other side of the Mary River, I must have driven through Amamoor several times. I just never noticed it before. On this occasion, a family member was getting married at the local community hall and the four of us arrived the day before.... More

Jolyon It was lovely to have you all stay with us and thrilled you enjoyed your visit despite the soggy conditions. We like to think the Mary Valley is perfect whatever the weather. More

We visited Amamoor for 2 nights with a large group of friends. What a great weekend. Malcolm and Christine could not have done more to make our visit any better. A great memory for which we thank you both.

We spent two nights in the Amamoor Lodge and took advantage of their platypus adventure package. The hosts Malcolm and Christine were welcoming and helpful. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The setting was so picturesque. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch outside our room in the afternoon with wine and cheese, looking out at the beautiful mountain... More

We recently spent a night at Amamoor Lodge, it was lovely. Our room was extremely comfortable, the food was excellent and Chester the dog was a loveable star. Our hosts Christine and Malcolm made us very welcome and before long it was as if we had known them for years. The nearby pub, about 5 km, was great too. We... More
