The B&B rooms are in a separate annexe adjoining the pub. There are 5 rooms, all recently re-furbished. We stayed on a Saturday night in room 5 on the first floor overlooking the front of the pub. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was very good and the new en-suite shower room was spacious. After 1130pm there... More

Just booked Dad and myself into a cheap B&B for the night before a boat trip. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the ales, restaurant and room. They had a couple of nice unusual ales on tap, which were rather tasty. The menu in the restaurant was surprisingly varied and innovative. The food was delicious. I can recommend... More

We stayed for 2 nights visiting family. Very good value for money, clean and comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and we ate in the restaurant one night and the food was reasonably priced and very nice. Would stay again.

Stayed just the one night but found this b&b to be excellent. Room 2 was clean with modern furnishings plus the bathroom which was very smart. The breakast was very good and was served in the pub it self. Alot of hard work has gone into this business refit wise and the owner needs to be congratulated on getting it... More

Loved this B&B. Rooms very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. But also appealing and cosy with all those little extras that are so appreciated by women. It also has the added attraction of an excellent restaurant which means that after a day out there is no hassle finding a place to eat. Will definitely be back.

I stayed the night in this pub bed and breakfast and I had a pleasant time in the bar, in the restaurant and my room was very comfortable. Booking was very easy - called and booked a single room that was reserved using a credit card. This is a proper pub; friendly staff and local folk that actually speak to... More
