We had a great break. Wonderful, warm hospitality, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was really good and individually tailored. Would absolutely stay here again. Free Wifi. Great walks for the dogs which were welcomed.

Staying at The Paddock has always been a pleasure! Our family has stayed there for a couple of times now and each time we enjoyed it. Nicky is an amazing host, making you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are very clean and Nicky has an excellent taste for interior and colour arangements. I would recommend staying at this... More

Great location in the countryside. The service was absolutely amazing, everything was provided. (Personal touch) Even included a hot tub :) Would definitely go again and recommend to others. Made us feel completely welcome, home from home.

I stay in a lot of hotels and b&b's throughout the country and this has to be by far one of the best. Very welcoming and comfortable stay. Nicky was absolutely lovely. A wonderful breakfast all round excellence would highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable one-night stay here. What a warm welcome from Nicky! The room was extremely comfortable and well-equipped with games, books, breakfast items, teas/coffees, toiletries etc - all you could wish for and more during a stay of this nature. Access was direct to our room with our own key so we could come and go as... More

Greeting from Nicky was terrific, straight into tea and cakes, most welcome as we had cycled 45 miles from Derby. Lovely ground floor en suite room with its own kitchenette (in a cupboard) stocked with all sorts of food. Very pleasant walk along disused canal into Redmile village to Windmill Inn for a good reasonably priced meal with decent real... More

Our countryside stay was very enjoyable. The individual rooms are thoughtfully stocked with numerous amenities, very tidy, and offer a comfortable bed. Nicky is a welcoming, friendly hostess who makes you feel at home and cooks a delicious full English. I will definitely stay here again on future visits. Real ale fans, don't miss The Final Whistle in Southwell. Cheers... More

We needed accommodation between Rutland Water and Nottingham and failed to find a hotel that suited our purposes.......,hence we took a chance on a B&B. What luck ! We were arriving lateish and needed to reserve a table for dinner in the locality. "Leave it to me" said Nicky and with a little trepidation, we did. Nicky was the perfect... More
