This hotel chain could be so good with some minor tweaks. Rooms are excellent value for money. The Nottingham one is well situated near a nature reserve - great for a walk or run. Unfortunately it is spoilt by a few details. Food in restaurant just misses the mark (very bland crab linguine) and terrible music ruins the ambiance -... More

last minute stay booked via the village website directly and got a really good deal for us as a family, the sofa bed was comfy for the little ones, the staff were really friendly, and must say a great thanks to the lovely lady who went into clean our room as we left to check out and came to find... We stayed in a double room Friday & Saturday night and paid £99. Overall we thought that was pretty good value. On the good side, the location is good, the staff were very polite and professional, the breakfast was good value. We are very fussy when it comes to food and we both thought they did a good job given... More

After arriving at village urban everything ran very smoothly from parking to checking in , found our upper deck room very easily. Then we trIed to find a channel on the TV this was impossible!!! Rang down to reception who said they would send a maid up to help, maid arrived after ringing down a second time, the maid was... More

I would have rated this place 4/5 but even though we paid for the upgraded room the room looked out onto the kitchen roof which had some kind of ventilation system that was on ALL night. I phoned at 12.30 and 02.30 to complain but as the hotel was full they could not move me. They moved us the next... More

I stayed at this hotel for business for 3 nights. My company upgraded me to the 'Upper Deck' rooms so I could have free access to wifi/leisure facilities and generally be a little more comfortable working away from home. I got a look in side a standard rooms on the way to my room and I don't think I would... More

We stayed here this weekend and really enjoyed it. The hotel was easy to find from the M1 but our room was not so! To get to our room we had to take 2 lifts and several corridors to walk down, a bit of a pain when your key card doesn't work!! However it was lovely and clean but we... More

We booked the weekend away using a buy a gift voucher and set off with a few concerns after reading some of the 'dodgy' reviews about this hotel, but we shouldn't have had any concerns at all. Got there at 7.30pm plenty of free parking available. Booked in with no fuss by a very efficient chap, having upgraded at the... More

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times over the past few years and although the reception, dining room and bar staff are some of the most friendly and helpful hotel staff that we have come across there is room for improvement. The cleaning of our bathroom left a lot to be desired and our cups were... More

Had a lovely weekend at this hotel. There were 9 in our party taking 4 rooms, we were celebrating our mothers 85 th birthday, she had a disabled room, nice room but the bathroom wasn't really a disabled bathroom. As it was her birthday the staff had put a small bottle of bubbly in her room, nice touch. She was... More
