I have just returned from a nights stay in the Lodge at Comlongon Castle. The venue is stunning and the staff are lovely . We had dinner at the Castle and the food and service was first class. If I wasn't married already I would have loved a wedding at this venue, beautiful gardens and full of history . Thank... More

As a surprise for my wife I planned a secret renewing of our vows for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and chose Comlongon Castle as our ideal venue. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms stunning and the hotel and castle 'a fairy tale' (my wife's words and mine!). All the staff were helpful, polite and were attentive to our every need,... More

In six weeks of touring Europe/UK, my room in Comlongon Castle is by far the worst - the room was tiny (a problem), with two single beds (not a problem), a view of part of the castle wall only 6' away (claustrophobic), windows that were painted shut and a bath with only a hand shower and no shower curtain (not... I would run out of space to tell you how incredible this castle is. I don't have a single complaint. We were there for my sister's wedding, everything went so wonderfully perfect. I can't fault the staff either they are so lovely and nothing was a hassle. Thank you all xx

We stayed formy sisters wedding, the venue it self was perfect for the occasion the service and the facilities could have offered more. the castle/rooms ran out of water before the wedding and the morning after, when brought to the staffs attention there was nothing done about it. the dinner service had around 20 mins between the bride and groom... We had an amazing experience on our Back Roads Touring GB Highlights trip and our last eve was spent in a wonderful suite in this historical castle. Our great guide, John, knew we had requested twin beds throughout our trip, and although this twin room would've been fine, he requested our move to the Murray suite to experience all Comlongon... This really was the most incredible place, the castle was a genuine 15th century Scottish Castle. Which is constructed of pink dressed sandstone with a rubble insert. The rooms were spacious, with fantastic baths. The food was incredible. There were objects of the 15th century, around the castle to observe. The whole surroundings were beautiful with so many interesting nooks... More

We were married here last weekend, we arrived the day before and the entire party stayed for 2 nights. The staff were so professional and friendly everything was taken care of!!! Nothing was too much trouble and I challenge anybody to find a more beautiful and relaxing setting (coming from a total stressball like me that is saying something -... More

We found Comlongon Castle by accident by literally driving past the gates. As we drove up the leafy long driveway, we were hopeful that the hotel would be as nice and it was. At the end we found a beautiful old house with a castle keep attached. As we walked through into the reception hallway, we were greeted with a... More
