I stayed here for 5 nights with six other work colleagues this week. I found the staff very helpful especially Stuart who couldn't do enough for us. We were working at Celtic manor and leaving the Priory at around 6.15am each morning therefore missing breakfast but Stuart arranged that we could get some takeaway bacon sandwiches at 7am when breakfast... We decided to try the priory for Sunday lunch. Seven of us ate, some having roast dinner and some ordering a la carte. I had fillet steak and it was really nice, very tender and cooked perfectly. The roast dinners looked great too with plenty of vegetables and meat. It is a little pricy but at the same time, some... More

I stayed there Saturday 9th May 2015 The hotel is really comfortable clean and well run, the grounds a credit to it's gardener's. The jewel in it's crown is it's restaurant, the choice is endless, displayed in glass covered ice beds for fish, meats from Venison to Chicken etc. Really is good.

Wonderful evening with delicious food great service and good wine! I came here with my dad, and my partner. The lamb shank was particularly loverly. Also been here for afternoon tea, sitting in the loverly garden. I have eaten here on more occasions also. Top notch!

I recently stayed at the hotel I was disappointed as on the first of 2 days there was no wifi and I felt they brushed this off with not sure what's wrong and how to fix it. The room was dark and could have done with another light. The shower ran at a trickle and there was little hot water.... More

I’d like to keep this little gem to my family and myself but that would be unfair. I booked the Priory Hotel in Caerleon last year for my Mothers 80th Birthday celebration to be held over the early May Bank Holiday this year and I couldn't have picked a better venue for it. Felipe and all his staff were all... More

Excellent food, pleasant surroundings, good service. You can't ask for much more! Except,of course, easy parking, and The Priory has its own car park at the rear of the building,so don't do what we did,and park 200 metres away! There is a wide choice of food, and the staff are very good.Interesting building right on the Main Street of this Roman town.

Had been a while since my last visit, wasn't disappointed the food was excellent, very good service, drinks were a bit pricey, really enjoyed my evening there. Definitely would go back. The staff were attentive and we weren't kept waiting for food. The set 2 course menu had plenty of choice. Would even stay over the hotel is lovely, an... More

On a warm spring evening this hotel is lovely to sit outside and relax. However, the star of the place is the restaurant. I've never eaten in a restaurant before where all the food was laid out in a fresh counter (like those in butchers) with a range of fresh meat, fish and prepared veg on show. Basically you could...
