Nice hotel, very nice en suite room with lovely clean towels and bedding and complimentary toiletries. Pleasant staff would have given 5 stars if a cooked breakfast had been offered, however continental was ok.

FILTHY ++ dirty dusty room, furniture in need of updating, small towel provided. Lighting needs to be sorted as very harsh and complicated arrangement for switching on smaller lights. Breakfast, very poor and had to help ourselves. Surly manager in the hotel area. However restaurant and restaurant staff very nice. I think this place needs to decide whether it is... More

Shower was absolutely terrible. Just a few drips. Ironing board falling apart. Had to ask for clean towels after 3 days. Wouldn't recommend more than an overnight stay. As breakfast wasn't that good either. One piece of bread for toast and dried croissants. No offer to get more bread either.

Friendly service and good value for a budget night away. The family room was clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable. There were some items missing from the tray in the room but soon rectified. On arrival we realised that there was a bar/restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Despite being fully booked Brian was able to secure us a... More

never again..... Went for a nice Romantic break away only it didn't plan out to be all that good. Very noisy little place. Can hear the chains flushing from the room of others, Breakfast was more like a greasy spoon. The staff are pleasant. Would I return? no we wouldn't.

We left this hotel this morning without even waiting for breakfast. We had to endue the noise of eight drunken workers until 4 am.not only did we have the noise, we also had to suffer the language that went with it. I dope to them at 12.40 and asked them to quieter down but was met with abuse, and the... More

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Roman Lodge Hotel and found it to be one of the best value for money hotels we have ever stayed at for our frequent weekends away. It is not a luxury hotel but there aren't many of those available for the majority of us budget conscious travellers the last time I looked... More

Whilst the restaurant has a range of exotic meats on the menu, it also offers a very nice conventional menu. Quite simply, the quality and value is incredible, and the great prices mean that you are very tempted to order a dessert when you have finished your main course. Drinks are also very reasonably priced.
