We stayed at Pendragon for just one night, in order to explore the Roman ruins in Caerleon. The house is in the centre so close to all the attractions and pubs/restaurants, but it is nicely quiet. Kath is brilliant, advising us on where to go and what to do, and also the history of the house and area. Breakfast was... More

Having stayed at Pendragon House on a number of occasions, but not for a while now, we were interested to see if the same high standards were there. We shouldn't have worried! Top dollar again. Room was beautiful, breakfast amazing and Kath and Pete were their usual enthusiastic selves with recommendations of where to go and eat etc. It's a... More

Working all over Britain I stay in many types of accommodation. But this homely B&b is a gem. Food is great, price is competitive, rooms are warm and the beds so comfortable, but by far the best thing is the friendly proprietor Kath. Nothing too much trouble and her bubbly happy mood is infectious, highly recommend

We stayed for the night at Pendragon House on a trip to Caerleon and chose the place partly because of Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Peter met us with courtesy and friendliness and Kath, met us with a big Welsh "cwtch"! Our room was lovely- though it was small it was very well appointed and comfortable, and the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, first and foremost thanks to the friendliness, warmth and informativeness of the proprietors. The breakfast was excellent, the room was modern yet comfortable, and Kath's enthusiasm from the moment we walked in the door through the following days was delightful. This place is what a B&B should be - we felt right at home.

We could not have been made more welcome; lovely accommodation and fabulous Welsh breakfast! I stayed with my wife for a relaxing 3-day break and that is exactly what we got. Really impressed with Caerleon. Highly Recommended.

After getting completely lost because I didn't use the websites directions we were welcomed by a bright smile a big hug and a coffee. The place, the people and the food was wonderful, would recommend to everyone. All I can say is thanks Kathryn

This is a delightful little B&B with warm. welcoming hosts and an excellent breakfast. It is in a lovely little village with an excellent pub (whose car park you will use). The personal attention from Kathryn and Peter make this a real home from home; they are extremely knowledgable about the area, local history and provided maps and a booklet... More

You need not search any farther! This was by far the most relaxing, warm and home-like place we encountered on our trip through Germany, England, Wales and Ireland! We were traveling with 2 small children and Kathryn (spelling?) made our rooms an oasis of relaxation including videos for the kids and the cutest trundle bed! Our rooms were warm and... More

We had a lovely stay here. Very helpful couple, enjoyed our stay, hope to go again. Food excellent, friendly people couldn't do enough for you. Good location near Roman baths and ruins such as amphitheatre. There were Roman ruins under the floorboards discovered by the Time Team. Interesting place too.
