Stayed here last year nice place booked a room with plunge pool but upgraded to a 2 bed villa with private pool . The photos depict it's on a beautiful beach ! Trust me it's not its a filthy rancid bay that I got sick from and was hospitalised for 20 days when I got back to Australia .. The... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Elements Resort and had the most amazing time. From the moment we were picked up from the ferry we were treated like royalty. The room not only had a wonderful view but they had thought of everything, plunger coffee replenished daily, beach bag with towels, oil burner lit each evening with the nightly... More

After 6 weeks away from home travelling south east Asia my girlfriend and myself thought we'd treat ourselves and pre book a week at elements at the end of our travels. We were not disappointed!! We found a good deal online (hotel regularly on groupon) so we saw it as great value for money. Breakfast was amazing! Steak and eggs... More

After reading some of the reviews, I was worried about what we would find when we arrived. From the moment we were greeted at the airport, everything has been smooth, easy and nothing was an issue. The staff have been friendly and helpful. The a la carte breakfasts have been fabulous. A much better option in a small boutique resort... More

This was the second last of many resorts we stayed at and it was far and above the best throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. We loved the room, the views, the location (quiet), cocktails on the beach and above all it offered an a la carte breakfast rather than the constant buffets offered everywhere else. We found the staff... More

I stayed at the elements hotel for a relaxing get away holiday and that's exactly what I got. At the far south of the island away from the busy tourist full north the location was ideal for peaceful beach days and simply relaxing by the pool. The hotel staff were very accommodating to me and my partner and we were... More

Our welcome was ok. The assistant manager gave us great information about the resort and available activities. We booked a package deal which included, amongst others things, 5 nights, snorkelling trip, thai cooking class and dinner at their Bamboo restaurant. Positives: clean room, nice pool, fantastic day spa. Morning yoga was excellent. Ok now the not so good. Turndown of... More

We had a lovely stay at Elements in July this year. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which had its own pool which was fantastic. We have 3 young children (9,7, 3) so the villa wasn't really suitable as the bedrooms were not connected and the pool isn't fenced. The service was excellent and the staff went out of... More

Firstly we purposely chose to go to this part of the island because it's quieter. We were planning to just stay in the resort, swim, have drinks, chill and eat there. However we were surprised to be told that the beach side restaurant that is run by the hotel only accepts cash and we can't put the bill to the... More

But occasionally English (Australian) seems to be a little hard for a lot of them to understand, but you can get by. We had a loud pump going underneath our pool balcony the first night, and mentioned it to the staff. They immediately rang their "engineer" to come and look. Before we knew it, the manager and about 4 others... More
