Excellent accommodation, great food and the most friendliest and genuine people! I'll call it a home away from home. Great views, plenty of historical sites to be seen and you can't go wrong with the locals' knowledge. I will definitely be back!

Having travelled by ferry to Rosslare my stay at the Fort Conan was my first night on Irish soil. The hospitality was typically Irish and nothing was too much trouble. I arrived too late for dinner but this wasn't a problem as I walked down to 'Off the Hook', a brilliant fish and chip restaurant and takeaway in the village.... More

We have been to Duncannon previously staying twice in a holiday let. As we were only staying 2 nights this time we decided to stay at the Fort Conan Hotel which we'd seen before on our visits to this small village. Are we glad we did. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. Richard and Helene, the owners, made us feel... More

We stayed here during a tour of Ireland having travelled fro Killarney. The owners were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and he breakfast was also very nice. Duncannon is a small place and a good location to explore the area

Lovely hotel, family run so very friendly and welcoming. Staff we always happy to go the extra mile for anything we needed. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, spacious. Only thing that bothered me was the walls and doors were rather thin, so when people were out and about at night/in the day- it made sleeping difficult. But would still definatly... More

Stayed here for a mid week break at the end of July. This small family run hotel was warm and welcoming. They made us feel so at home. The hotel has only 10 rooms and we had loads of space as we had interconnecting rooms which were ideal as we had a small child with us and she was thrilled... More
