We arrived by boat, moored stern on in a gale. The site is lovely. There was obviously some work being carried out at the site but this didn't detract anything from our stay. Alan is lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were very clean and a delight to be able to use after being on a boat for several... More

We arrived on a Friday night at 8:20pm. As instructed we called Alan the 'out-of-hours' man, but it was clear his phone had no reception. We ended up just pitching anywhere (Kingfisher pitch) and luckily didn't have to move the next morning. We arrived at Reception at 9am as we were hiring a boat for the morning. Not a soul... More

Thanks for your great review LittleSurprise, and especially for your understanding during a transition period for us. This winter we've been renovating our on-park Pub and as part of this we decided to move our Reception and Shop into the same building. Last week we moved everything into the new location, and Saturday was the team's first day in their... More

The apartment was very well equipped for all your self catering needs and the quality excellent. Pool and Jacuzzi perfect. Its a little bit out the way but has plenty to do there for outdoor holiday but... More

Excellent setting, lovely wildlife and a really nice time me and my partner had here. Three minus points are that on Sunday morning when we fancied a nice English breakfast the restaurant/pub on site wasn't open until 11:00 and not serving food until 12:00 and the convenience store/reception area which houses all the day to day food was closed all... We're glad you enjoyed the tranquility of our Park but were of course a bit disappointed to read your 'grumbles'. We're a small, rural, family-owned park offering self-catering rather than fully catered holidays. Our newly refurbished pub (which re-opened the same week) does offer lunch and evening meals, as well as breakfast at busier times where demand is sufficient. Our... More

Our family has stayed at Waveney four times now and enjoy it every time we come. There is mix of two and three bed lodges and apartments as well as a tent/caravan area with beautiful views over the small marina. Some of the funky camping pods have been installed over the Winter. Our boys love the swimming pool and the... More

We stayed here for 4 days with our 1 year old in the Mutford lodge. The lodge was very clean and spacious with everything you need and had plenty of hot water and very warm. The pool was warm and had it to ourselves.Only downside was the cafe wasnt open until weekend and the pub was closed for refurbishment. Would... More

Our party of three families stayed in the lodges and we were very pleased with them. We found them to be really warm, spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and the swimming pool, although small, very convenient and clean and the hot tub was lovely. The changing rooms in the pool could have been a bit cleaner though... More

This was our first experience camping and we wanted to choose somewhere that had good reviews. We were not disappointed. The toilets and shower blocks were lovely. A very good standard. The water was nice and hot and there is a hairdryer, shower seat, your own toilet sink and shower unit big enough for two. Even in the middle of... More
