Just had a five day short break, which we booked as a late booking for the four of us. Our part was me, the wife and two teenage boys. We stayed in a three bedroom lodge which was plenty big enough for us lot. The restaurant is very nice, having recently been refurbished, and the food was good. The site... More

Stayed in the Fritton Caravan which was basic but good (first time in a static caravan!), the on site restaurant and bar was very nice; the food was excellent with massive portions, which is good if you have had an active day. The pool was nice, but it was a bit strange having to walk across the main entrance area... More

Stayed for 9 nights on Coot 1, which is the first row on the camping area. Massive pitch, easily big enough for our large trailer tent with enough room for wind breaks and sitting outside watching the world go by. Great facilities, shower rooms with loo and sink, separate toilet block, restaurant, shop and swimming pool. We used the ferry... More

A we only had a few days for a short break I was looking for a camp site on the south coast but then I seen this place and as they had glamping pods we thought we would give them a go. At only £40 a night they are good value and when you add in the other facilities like... More

This is a new pub next door to the River Centre. We visited on a very hot and sunny Sunday and had the roast lunch. WOW, the food was so good, huge portions of beef, beautifully tender and turkey, equally luscious. Coffee great and this pub is even dog friendly too, inside and out. Nice outside good quality seating with... More

We have two young children and wanted to find a more peaceful alternative to our last holiday at Center Parcs! Waveney River Centre did not disappoint us. Our Lodge was very clean and came well equipped. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely indoor pool on site, which was never very full and sometimes... More

Prebooked a 1 night mooring here. Very good facilities. Grandchildren enjoyed the swimming pool and park to release their energy after being on the boat. Very friendly staff and excellent shower and toilet facilities included in the cost of the mooring. Good pub and shop too. Only downside was that the people in the tent behind where we moored stern... More

After bailing our visit to Oulton Broad we took on water and used the shop here. There were plenty of moorings and the shop was well stocked with plenty of everything you could possibly want. A very easy and pleasant experience.

We were touring the Broads by boat and arrived here on a lovely sunny May afternoon. The moorings were great, the showers fantastic and the people so helpful and pleasant. We ate in the new Waveney Inn, which is a lovely spacious modern building. Great beer......according to the men!! Fabulous food, great service. Can thoroughly recommend!!
