We stayed in Haughmond Lodge for the last weekend in August. Although the accommodation was of a very high standard, it was more like a caravan than a lodge. The hot tub was lovely, we recieved a warm welcome and the park is very well maintained. There was quite a bit of noise from the local road (A49) but probably... More

Stayed here for a short mid-week break from 11th - 15th August. The site is really well kept and the lodge and hot tub immaculate. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I do not understand others moaning about rules and regulations etc. If you like to... More

Now this is how you run a holiday park (see my previous review for how not to), you make your guests feel welcome, at home and treated with care. We stayed here for a 4 night break from the 18th - 22nd August 2014 in one of the lodge cabins and found the whole experience to be absolutely brilliant. The... More

Stayed on beaconsfield site for a long weekend covering the shrewsbury flower show, the site is well kept and has decent size pitches with water and waste it's fairly close to the park and ride 4 miles away just next to tesco, from here it's a quick 5 minute ride to shrewsbury town center. The only thing I would like... More

My husband and i have just returned home from a lovely relaxing holiday at beaconsfield park. The lodge was immaculate and couldnt be faulted any staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. People have commented on here about being loads of rules but it is all just a case of respecting other peoples property. We would live to return... More

We stayed in the Haughmond Lodge for four people as two couples. The lodge itself was immaculate with two good sized bedrooms with kingsize beds, one with an en-suite. The only slight issue was that the bathroom that was not en-suite had a hand held shower and bath but we found it okay as we just used the shower in... More

Our third weekend in our touring caravan & we couldn't have chosen better, facilities were excellent showers and toilets were spotless. Peaceful & relaxing we can't wait to return & book a table at The Bothy restaurant. Worth every penny.

After a very welcoming arrival, we went to our cabin and was happy with wot we had. It was clean and comfortable. As someone has already said the log cabins don't feel like log cabins apart from cladding ceilings! We felt too scared to cook a meal in case we never cleaned to the parks satisfaction! We stayed at callow... More

Firstly, this booking was made for 4 adults in one of our 5 star bespoke built lodges, which sleeps 4 adults (2 king size beds). The above guests checked in Friday evening, then proceeded to smuggle in an extra adult on Saturday evening who stayed until Sunday afternoon. At no time did they attempt to register the extra adult. If you don't like peace & quiet, excellent food don't go to Beaconsfield Farm. We have stayed for around about 12 times over the years, in lodges just love going the Bothy restaurant gets very busy, so take a tip you must book when booking your holiday. If you are fussy about food speak to the restaurant staff & they... More
