This hotel is in a delightful position beside the river, we stayed 3 nights including.Dinner The furnishings are not luxurious but adequate, but the food is out of this world. Come for the food you will not be disappointed, the staff are excellent. There are two dinning rooms it doesnt matter which one you choose both are superb. Godd value.

We visited Blackaddie to meet with family, having no prior knowledge of the hotel. The bedroom was small ans we had upgraded so unsure how small the basic rooms were. The staff were helpful and very friendly didnt speak to the owners as he was in the kitchen... The food was nice but expensive and in my opinion messed about with too much.

As many others, we took advantage of the KGB deal. Knew nothing of the area but were quickly made to feel welcome by the attentive staff. The room itself was OK, the hotel is underway with its own refurbishment. We saw one of the rooms that had been refitted and it looked great, hopefully a benchmark for the remaining rooms.... More
