Our recent wedding at Alison House Hotel can only be described as perfect. Sharon was amazing in helping us organise a relaxed country wedding with a homely atmosphere. Sharon even assembled our homemade 'naked' wedding cake. So many venues insist you hire the entire hotel out for the night or have to be finished by 5pm which would have been... More

There is a historic feel to this hotel and it's furnishings. We ate at the hotel and the dinner was ok although not exceptional but for on site ease of eating a meal it was ideal.... More

We had warned the hotel that we would be arriving late and despite the fact that there was a wedding in progress we were given an outstanding welcome. Our room was clean, well equipped with a comfortable bed and had a lovely view of the grounds. It was also huge, slept four and would be great for a family. Breakfast... More

We stayed for a weekend in June and what a relaxing place to be! The staff are so very friendly, making you feel at ease from the minute you arrive. The whole place is spotlessly clean. We had a large room overlooking the side of the garden so were able to leave our two enormous sash windows open all night... More
