We had a very nice and relaxing stay however a few improvements could make this a fantastic experience; during our stay the restaurant was closed and there was no oppertunity to cook yourself. A guest bbq with equipment would solve this. Also the breakfast lacks creativity as we had the same limited breakfast offering for 5 days. The lunch we... More

The reviews on tripadvisor really had me looking forward to going to this place. The agriturismo is ok, but I wasn't that wowed as others. Our room was pretty noisy. Whenever someone put on a tap somewhere we heared the running of water loudly through the wall. When we were there were not many people (restaurant was closed most of... More

My friends and I made our last stop here before a morning flight to Malpensa airport (40 minute drive). I wasn't expecting much since we had just spent 5 days in heart of Piemonte, but this place was really fantastic. We arrived in the late afternoon and then had a wonderful meal at their restaurant which was filled to the... More

This place is worth making a special trip for, regardless of the nearby lakes. Go on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday and combine your stay with an extremely good 6 course set menu for 35 euros a head. Set in flat farmland just below the foothills of the Italian Alps. Extremely well converted old farm with lovely rooms and great... More

I am a cook who recently visited La Capuccina to work in the kitchen and learn more about Italian cooking. I was traveling around northern Italy with my boss/chef sampling the food and wine and working in a variety of kitchens. On top of being a beautiful hotel in an incredible location, the food was the best we sampled in... More

An italian Agriturismo is normally a Country B&B with very simple but genuine homemade food. Sometimes they'll have animals, sometimes a simple orchard so that you can enjoy fresh fruits and veggies. La Capuccina is on a different level. The rooms are very pretty in natural shades of beige, green and plum, design is minimal yet quite chic and they... More

We have enjoyed several visits to La Capuccina (travelling from London) and have always enjoyed a wonderful experience. Gianluca and Rafaela are very warm and kind hosts. The setting is fantastic and extremely comfortable - you quickly relax in this environment. A bonus is the exceptional restaurant with amazing food, wine and friendly service. The location is excellent - close... More

Travel & Leisure just gave La Capuccina a rave review for budget accommodations (Best of the Lakes Region), so when we wanted to visit that area, we had to give it a try, and boy are we glad we did! La Capuccina is a beautiful "Agritursmo" working farm and hotel, run by a lovely husband and wife team, Gianluca and... More

We are importers of Italian food products who travel in Italy often. When we want a place to forget about business and unwind, we love the Cappucina. The owners, Gianluca and Raffaella, are perfect hosts, and he is an amazing chef. Almost everything he prepares originates on their farm. Early in the morning they milk the goats so you can... More
