We highly recommend staying at the Hibiscus hotel, everything was quite perfect. Everyone was really nice and helpful, recommended great activities and gave us loads of information, our room was lovely, clean and convenient with a kitchenette, there's a strong wifi throughout the property (which is a HUGE perk on the islands!), we found great snorkeling nearby, and a fantastic... We stayed at the Hotel Hibiscus near the end of January 2015 on our honeymoon. We had a lagoon view bungalow - basic but comfortable, and near the restaurant. We found the restaurant staff to be friendly and providing excellent service. The gentleman at Hotel Hibiscus' main reception was Patrice (We called him Pat). He was awesome! Made our stay... More

Hotel Hibiscus was a great deal on this very expensive island. Our room was clean and had air conditioning (we were in the building, not the cottages) and a kitchenette. The grounds were well maintained and there is a restaurant on site with pizza, pasta, etc. (pricing is a bit high though). The front desk person is very knowledgeable about... More

We were impressed with our first view of Hotel Hibiscus. The grounds were beautiful with lots of large palms and flowering trees and bushes. The room was decorated beautifully with flowers on the bed, nightstands, and in the bathroom. The flower décor is there for your first day only but that didn't matter I proceeded to pick up flowers and... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Hibiscus Hotel. Before we arrived, we received welcoming emails with helpful advice, and were well taken care of the minute we arrived (in the pouring rain). Our bungalow was very clean, quiet and authentic with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we used the kitchenette for breakfast and lunch but wouldn't... More

This is a two star hotel. There is no way of getting around that. Initially we were concerned that there was no air conditioning in the bungalows, but this turned out to be a bonus for us. Too many times we have stayed in air conditioned bungalows and made that the focus of our stay in a humid climate. The... More

We ordered the poison cru and a seafood pizza. Both very delicious! Together with a great cold beer and some water we couldn't ask for anything more. The Tahitian lady who helped us was very nice and friendly. And then the setting: absolutely stunning!

We took an unplanned taxi trip here, from the port, for $5 USD each way. It's just next to the (very small) local town, so it's close to a couple of other shops & bars. We did not stay at the hotel overnight, but we had lunch and enjoyed the beach. The food was excellent (beautiful sashimi platter), not the... More

This is a lovely, 2 star hotel. It seemed to be popular with Tahitian families and folks who have travelled to Moorea before. We enjoyed the kitchenette and having a grocery store with in walking distance to provide a break from eating out each meal. Rooms were beautifully cleaned each day, staff was willing to help with booking transportation/excursions and... More

Returned from Tahiti last month and I have to say, the hotel Hibiscus was once again the star of my trip. If you have the opportunity, stay in bungalow #1 or #2. They have recently upgraded these rooms with rivals any 5 star in the island~ Absolutely beautiful furnishings and the new beds are amazing. BRAVO ! There is also... More
