Wonderful and welcome one night's break with view of the best salmon river (apparently) in Britain. Great breakfast, friendly and relaxed welcome.

This is my third stay in the last two years as part of mini cycling tours with friends. The accommodation is excellent in a beautiful location by the river just outside the village and Kevin and Glenda are perfect hosts. Highly recommended.

I spent a lot of time at the Carlton Guest House and can not say any negative about it. Really nice location to relish a lot nature and silence. I enjoyed a lot the brilliant breakfast and the service while the day. Most importend for me was that I got a clean houshold which the Carlton Guest House fulfilled brilliantly.... More

Having spent many weekends in Bellingham over a number of years, by accident we discovered this fabulous guest house. Tucked away down next to the river, its setting could not be better.
