We stayed at this hotel to attend a Christmas party. The building looks lovely as you approach it, but is not quite so glamorous inside, with the general feeling being that the whole place is a little tired. The room we had was large and was actually better decorated than expected given the general feel of the hotel. The bed... More

Rhis is not my usual choice for a Bristol hotel but it was 2 miles to the company I was visiting so seems ideal and I have stayed at a number of mercure hotels. You need a little skill to locate the hotel in the dark. It looked pretty cool as I approached. Greeted by a pleasant young lady and... More

This place could be fantastic but the entire building is looking a little tired and in some places grubby. I stayed at the hotel as I was attending a Christmas party on site. Check in was quick and efficient; the rooms offer no privacy at all though as half way down the corridor I could hear a couple enjoying themselves... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your review. I hope you enjoyed our Mistletoe Masquerade Party, they have been very popular so far! I wasn't aware that there was any hot water issues on that night, we will have maintenance look into it right away. Kind Regards Josh Watts General Manager More

We stopped over en route back to London from Wales. Much nicer than we thought for the £69 we paid. When we arrived there was a huge Christmas party getting started and we feared for the worst but we didn't hear a thing. Big comfy bed and good amenities in the rooms. Feels a bit tired in parts but I... More

Stayed on business with several colleagues. All agreed it was a bit tired, in need of an injection of style. However as a place to sleep eat and go it more than satisfies. Good breakfast and very polite and friendly staff help to get a higher score! Though I had to go without an ironed shirt as I couldn't wait... More

Pleasant and modern and ideal for business (and great wedding venue). Meals were a touch above normal and generally nice atmosphere. Rooms well fitted and comfortable and for business, the big desk and free Wifi made it a great stay.

I was part of a pre booked party of 24 ladies. Our meals had all been pre ordered for an 8pm start. If you expect a large party and have a set time and know the food orders then we should have been served within 15 minutes of that time. We waited and waited and waited and still waited. Meals... Dear Guest Thank you for your review. Firstly, please accept my sincere apology for the delay in food service you experienced during your function. The evening in question proved very difficult for us with many more hotel guests than expected ordering room service and dinner in the lounge all at the same time putting serious strain on the kitchen team.... Stayed at this hotel on the nights of 2nd, 3rd and 4th November and I am writing this review in my dark and cold room on the evening of the 4th. I arrived just before midnight on 2nd, and went straight to bed, and therefore didn't really take much notice of how cold the room was. On the 3rd, I... More
