This hotel is located a little off the beaten path, quite close to the airport, and has lovely scenery. Luckily I have a customer nearby so it serves as a perfect hotel for my visits to Bristol. The room is spacious and the restaurant is decent. If you don't have a car there is no chance of walking anywhere. FYI... More

We recently married at The Grange on the 5th June 2015 and want to say what a fantastic day was had by all of the people at the ceremony and at the evening party. The wedding was planned superbly by Robyn and her team which took a lot of weight off of our shoulders. On the day of the wedding,... More

So you arrive at the Mercure, drive up this long twisting drive, thinking "oh this will be nice". You get to the car park after a day of driving, take your case, shirts and go to reception or what you think is reception. Then find out it's the old reception. The reception has been moved which means you need to... More

We stay in four star hotels within UK between six and ten times most years. We normally avoid Mercure hotels as they usually offer poor value for money. On principle I also strongly object to their practice of forcing telephone contact via expensive premium rate numbers. We stayed one night dinner, bed and breakfast at the North Grange as we were... My Sons wedding weekend. We arrived at the hotel on the Friday evening. Confusion already there are two reception desks, The first as you walk in from the car park was not attended, with no information to show that there was another reception desk. A help full guest showed us where it was. No porter to help with the bags.... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for taking the time to review your recent experience at The Mercure Grange Hotel. We have recently had a ground floor refurbishment and as part of the improvements have relocated the reception desk to the front door of the building, there is a sign where the old desk was informing guests of this. I'm sorry to advise... More

We stayed here for two nights so as we could pop into Wales and back during our stay and were both glad we did. The hotel is within easy reach of the M4 & M5 set in nearby countryside offering a very relaxing stay. The grounds of the hotel are very appealing with a winding road up to the hotel... More

I was taken here for a special lunch. We had the place to ourselves and the waiter, a very friendly Portuguese chap named Nuno, said that they very rarely have guests in for the midday meal. The ambience was very pleasant, although the background music was a bit too "new age" for my taste. We both had the haddock and... More

We stayed here for a wedding recently. On arrival the stay were very friendly, curious and happy to help. The room that had the ceremony in was quite small and very warm but fine for the hour of the service. The food was absolutely gorgeous fro the wedding breakfast. The rooms were very tastefully decorated, very spacious. Breakfast was also... More

You can tell this hotel has had a lick of paint recently, and it does make it look smart. The bedrooms are nice (I was in a spacious prestige room) and the food is ok (a bit of a generic evening menu) but breakfast is varied and good. There are a couple of things though that left me a bit... More
