We definitely enjoyed our time at our Barona condo. We had a great quite ground floor location facing an apple orchard and a nice view of Mission Hill. We also had great weather so that always helps. The Barona facility is nice, the grounds are well maintained and our 2 bdrm condo was well stocked with everything we needed. The... More

We spent a week here with family this past summer. There seems to be a big issue with climate control at this resort. The three bedroom unit we rented, which got morning sun and afternoon shade, was mostly okay. There was a freestanding air conditioner set up in the living room which we ran constantly on high to keep the... More

We travelled with my parents for what was supposed to be a wonderful and relaxing family vacation. Each of us rented a condo unit at Barona Beach. Our first impression was that the resort was beautiful. After the first night here we couldn't wait to leave. There is no properly functioning A/C and the temperatures this past week have been... Can't use the beach because it has been taken over by geese and their droppings. Pool is ok, but very busy and not enough umbrellas for hot days. Units look nice, but finishes are cheap. No A/C!! Some units seem to cool better than others, but overall the entire complex has issues with heating and cooling (spoke with several owners... More

Stayed with wife in #5313 for a week at about $2000/week late June early July 2014. We were sandwiched between three noisy, classless, alcoholic families that overtook our end of the resort. No security on site. Puking outside our unit. Dock and beach full of duck crap, not usable. Beer cans in plants around building. Common areas in desperate need... More

Barona Beach has nice suites and a great location on the lakefront but the strictness of its rules makes it hard to give it a higher rating. Mainly, the parking for visitors has a short time limit, otherwise you have to pay for parking, and it costs as much as it would downtown in a big city. However, the suite... More

We vacationed for a week with our 2 children. Our unit was on ground level so we were only steps away from the pool. It was so convenient with the kids. Our unit was very clean and nicely furnished. As there are no stores etc near property, I would still say it is in a great location as long as... More

We have been visiting this property for several years now and plan to return. The condos are extremely well appointed beachfront properties and many have boat lifts at the two docks on property. The swimming pool is a popular retreat fom the heat. The property is just below the Mission Hills, Quail's Gate, Mount Boucharie and Volcanic Hills wineries so there... More

Honestly, Barona Beach should have a reality T.V. Show. My first impression of the resort was that it was breathtakingly beautiful, situated 30 feet from Lake Okanagan. After deciding that this would be the perfect place to live, a lease was signed. The "dream" was short lived, as the politics surrounding Barona Beach began to unfold. The Strata created countless... Not Vacationer friendly. Barona Beach has NO amenities, no restaurant, convenient store, etc. All amenities are up the hill. It used to be pet friendly but this year no pets unless you stay a month. Not sure I understand the No Pet rule as the geese have taken over the beach so you have to dodge the goose poop wherever... More
