OK, this review is long overdue, but I cannot face Karen & Tony for a 3rd time without having done this place justice. The location is perfect for exploring this area of Italy. Whether it is the beach, the lakes, Verona, Venice or even the lovely town of Ferrara, all are within easy reach. The accommodation itself is outstanding -... More

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Casa di Antonio and it was outstanding. We have never stayed in a B&B before - we always opt for a hotel - but this was something else .... the bedrooms and comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the ensuite. breakfasts were amazing, fresh home baked pastries and bread, homemade... As previous reviews, excellent knowledgeable hosts, beautiful area. Lovely breakfasts and Karen makes a wonderful 4 course meal twice a week. Fabulous wines available to purchase, so you can sit under the barn and chill with other guests, which was really nice. You do need a car to get about, but you can use Karen and Tony's bikes to ride... More

Ahh...what can we say that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. We spent 11 days with Tony and Karen and felt that wasn't enough. We usually get a bit homesick towards the end of a holiday, but not this time! Determined to fit in as much as we could we visited Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, Florence,... More

We had a lovely 10 day stay. Karen and Tony are excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Lots of great places to visit. Really enjoyed the breakfasts and the drinks in the evening under the barn. A fantastic holiday.

What a perfect gem of a retreat! My partner and I arrived home on Wednesday afternoon with a feeling of such contentment after spending 7 wonderful nights at Casa di Antonio where Karen and Tony were always on hand to make our Italian adventure such an enjoyable holiday. From the peaceful location, the exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean room, the... More

What a find! This delightful B&B is the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of Italy which is steeped in history. We visited Padua, Bologna, Ravenna, Commachio and Ferrara - all within an hour's drive. Our children particularly enjoyed Ferrara because we did as the Ferrarase and hired bikes, something I would highly recommend. Back at Casa di Antonio,... More

Having spotted the advert on a school notice board I got in touch and am I glad I did. This cosy b&b, in a converted farmhouse, is a gem of a find. It is located in a beautiful and peaceful area which is well placed for excursions and trips in all directions - Ferrara, Ravenna, Verona, Padua Venice and beautiful... More

Just returned with all our family from Tony and Karen with another amazing stay! This is the only time we have re-visited a holiday destination and been so pleasantly surprised that it lived up to our previous visit. If anything it surpassed our first visit and beyond our expectations. The welcome and the friendliness on our return and for our... More

This is our second visit and would recommend it without hesitation. It is the perfect base to explore the surrounding area, Bologna, Venice, Verona, Lake Garda to name but a few! The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The breakfast sets you up for the day and Tony's directions are excellent and knowing where to park takes the stress out of... More
